Khajiit Furstock Datamined (Senche-raht Mount)

So now everyone's problem is that a senche-raht is an intelligent creature? You know that horses are almost as smart as cats? These senche were bred to be mounts.

Senche-Raht can be born from walking, talking Khajiit breeds just as much as they can be born from Alfiq (who are often mistaken for common house cats). They're not bred (unless you consider people to be bred?) but rather born into families just like you and me. Based on what we know of how the moon cycle determines the Khajiit breed, I wouldn't be surprised if we'd all have to assume that our Khajiit characters have a Senche-Raht cousin somewhere in our extended family - possibly (quite?) a few. Question is, would you be okay with everyone riding him into battle?

Senche-Raht are actual Khajiit, meaning they're practically sentient intelligent creatures. They may not be able to speak oral language but they can understand it, and I don't like the idea of other Races using them as beasts of burden. They're meant to be Mounts exclusive to the Khajiit.

Elder Scrolls lore in a constantly evolving creature. That said, pretty sure these mounts are coming out with a Khajiit centric update so......

Judging by the shape of the body, it looks like it'll be rigged to move like a welwa. Either that, or it's a strange thumbnail.

Kind of reminds me of the bear-lizard thing. Everyone was ultra excited for the new mounts and very few took the time to study the video and see it was actually just a reskinned bear.

Questions are, how nauseating (or not) will they be to ride? How expensive, easy, or absurdly hard will they be to acquire? If they're welwas, will they also have that idle scratching animation where their leg gets all twisted? And will they sit down and gnaw on something while players are sitting on them too?

Plot twist: it looks like a mount but it'll actually be the mount of a trial/world boss and therefore not accessible to players.

Now that's a mount that I will not regret buying. I just hope it was released early, can't wait!

Well- to all those who were guessing that this was a crown store item- nope!

It’s part of the digital collector’s upgrade. The upgrade is only $10 more and comes with a few other items- so it still somewhat cheaper than buying a crown store mount. :D
Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

    Description from ESO Store:
Largest of all the furstocks, or "breeds" of Khajiit, the Senche-raht is fully intelligent, and in combat often serves simultaneously as warrior and mount.

Did I read that correctly or am drunk? Does that say that it doubles in combat as a warrior and a mount? Like in RP lore or like in game? A mount that doubles as a pet? Surely that's not what that means, correct?

I think its just lore. There's no way that they'd make this mount the only battle mount, especially since mounts despawn after dismounting.

I think it is just referencing that it is one of the new types of intelligent races in elsweyr.
