They and their Orc colleague are still bugged (it's been nearly 2 years, I'm so upset). They're supposed to appear as guys, but then change sex to be both women after you complete the "Ripple Effect" questline at Glenumbra Moors. Unless I'm remembering it wrong, this was how it worked on the PS4 long long long ago in the before time. I'm almost as upset as when I watched YouTube rewind 2018.

They only change gender if you choose to save the guy's pregnant Wife first. If you save her, then she and her child lives and that alters the present. If you choose not to then she dies and the two dudes remain as they were. I think.

I never chose to let her die so I'm not entirely sure that's what happens, I just assumed.

Ahhhhhh you're right, just tested. I just always assumed they were bugged because I had been skipping that.

They even make a reference in the dialogue when you come back, saying one of them made a bet that something like them changing genders would happen as a result of the messing with time travel :P

They say that no matter the choice you make too, and (if you did save the wife), don't realize that it actually happened, which is funny.
