pvp event on the 10th, not gunna go smoothly. Pvp rn is already a lag fest with single digit fps

    And zos won’t care. They’ll continue to pump out events and broken updates till the game dies a slow and buggy death

    Lol why call it,, the influx of people into all pvp areas will cause a lot more lag than it normally is so it's a given :P

    Yes, but at least we can enjoy watching the PVE players RAGE at how toxic PVP players are for killing them in a PVP zone.

    Hopefully they add an extra campaign, as it will be next to impossible to get into vivec for a lot of players.

    I hope you did not stress yourself figuring out the obvious. Since nothing has changed since the last two events this thread seems to just want to jump on the bandwagon of similar threads that have already been created.

    This will be just like last Junes Mayhem event.

    Don’t play cyrodiil then, play BGs or IC. I rarely lag in those modes and BGs aren’t going to be negatively affected by an influx of players.

    owh crown store, only good thing since a while was the event style
    the eso+deals are mostly mounts and costumes most people dont care about or already have (the discount for crates was decent tho) but have not buyed any discount stuff yet personaly
    (would be nice if esoplus users would get discount for charslots or those merchant/bank )

    just a bunch of zerg trains never getting off their mount to get to the next offensive tic. a pvp event where everyone just pves the guards and avoids as much combat as possible

    If you are having FPS in the single digits that problem is on your side. The latency/lag issue is all ZOS's fault though.

    It seems Zos chose their words carefully. Rich's specific words below.
    Additionally, we will not hold another in-game event that requires the Activity Finder until we are 100% confident that the tool can support it. Stay tuned for details on that.

    BGs are part of previous Mayhem events and while I am not in game to double check they have been part of the achievements.

    So while doing BGs are not absolutely required for the event Zos has acknowledged the issues with Cyrodiil including what is actually causing the lag, et all. BGs relieve some (probably a lot) of that pressure from the Cyrodiil servers.

    Since Zos has not implemented an actual fix and the same GF serves BGs Zos is clearly splitting hairs rather thinly just as they ignored the many threads explaining to them they did not fix the GF last year.
