Can the next dlc be something like craglorn?

I think another area like craglorn is what the game needs right now. I just recently started doing trials and I want more! The zone should could also come with a gladiator pvp colosseum. A 1v1v1 colosseum that was very dangerous monsters that can be used to ones advantage. Idk just some ideas one roast me or do whatever 😂.

The last zone they made that size was wrothgar. They decided to do smaller zones from there on out.

I do like your ideas, though.

Been clamoring for something like this for years now. Imo there haven't been any decent content updates since Wrothgar. Seems we are in the minority though as most players enjoy the bite sized, faceroll, forgettable content you basically auto-complete that's been dropping steadily over the past few years. Western Skyrim would be a perfect place for something like this. I'd also like to see roaming packs of elite/raid tier level mobs, achievement rewards, cities you could siege and capture/retake from elite enemy npc's. My ideas and I are not the target audience anymore though as I prefer better content over crown store cosmetics.

So let's dissect this one, shall we?

Area like Craglorn - you mean a massive flop that turned into a dead zone and had to be redesigned just to get some players in it? OG Craglorn's difficulty and forced grouping is not suitable for the current playerbase. ZOS will get eaten alive by all the "I'm just here to quest and explore" people and there is not enough dedicated players to fill a zone, see "what happened to Craglorn before".

Trials - if you are expecting three more new trials like in Craglorn, you are in for some hard reality. ZOS can't be arsed to design one proper trial for the last year and a half. All we are getting since HoF is a poor mechanic cluster*uck that is mini-trials. I can see one proper trial added sometime soon (probably with the chapter in June) but not three. And if you've just started with craglorn trials you still have MoL, HoF, AS and CR ahead of you anyway.

"Gladiator PvP colloseum" thingy - you will get eaten alive by all the people who want some "proper 1v1" PvP (you know main audience of such things) for the idea of adding 1v1v1 and PvE to their "honorable and fair" fighting. We have enough of those crying about three team design of BGs already. And we already have dueling for 1v1s and you can even duel around "dangerous mobs" if you wish to. Maybe some kind of arena to get all those 1v1 people a place to be at but we already kinda had it with Hammerdeath and see how well it turned out. Although something with better infrastructure might be helpful.

Got to agree with @Royaji. I wish there were more trials like Craglorn, but instead we got HOF, Cloudrest, and the abomination that is AS. At least in Cloudrest, they gave us great gear sets.

In all honesty, I have no idea what it takes to create a game like ESO or trials within ESO. But come on, the 3 trials in Craglorn are some of the best PVE content in the game. Make more of that. I don't care if its harder, easier, or whatever. Just make it fun, replayable, and stock it with worthwhile loot.

EDIT: Forgot about MOL. More of that. Definitely more of that.

I love the pockets in Craglorn with mobs of higher difficulty. I would greatly appreciate some of that in any upcoming content.

Actually I’ve done every trial but Mol and AA oddly enough. And sure make the area 1v1 but make it queable and have some cool rewards for it could make things interesting.

You know what would be cool is a que for a gladiator small tournament. Quick 4 man tournaments 2 separate 1v1 fights where winners face off and losers face off top three get rewards.

Back when Dinosaurs roamed the Earth, Mirkmire was teased as one of the first new zones, alongside the IC and Wrothgar. Back then, the plan was for this to be a zone just like Craglorn (was at the time.)

Originally, Craglorn was designed as a group focused zone. If you were traveling in that zone, it was in a full party, and all of the content, including the quests, was aimed at groups. The problem was, basically no one went there. Now, originally, getting there was kinda a pain, you needed to be Vet 1, go back to your Alliance's capital, and pick up a specific quest, before heading out there. (You couldn't even port to guildies in the zone if you hadn't reached Vet 1.)

By the time One Tamriel was in the works, Craglorn was (mostly) a ghost town. So, at some point the decision was made to overhaul it and turn it into a normal-ish zone. At some point, Mirkmire was reevaluated, and instead of being another Adventure Zone (the technical term for these zones), it became a normal Zone for DLC. (In the process, it was moved south, and its size was dramatically reduced.

I recently finished soloing all the group instances in Craglorn (excep Shada, may she burn in Oblivion) and that was the best fun I had in a good while. Loot was poor though, so little incentive to do them again.
Wish there was more content like that that can be soloed. In most of the dlc dungeons I sooner or later run into a forced group mechanic. Why not keep that crap for the veteran versions, let me have my fun and finish the dungeon quests.

I would like some more wrothgar like content. Big zones are more fun than small zones.
Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.
