I want to start a petition for more guild slots.
While 5 slots are great, I think it would make the game even more enjoyable than it already is if we had more.
With more guild slots, come more opportunities.
I've taken it upon myself to ask about it in different zone chats, just to see if anyone else would want this, and I've found many people that agree.
What I don't know how to do, is get this information to where it needs to be for it to be seen by the right people.
Do any of you have any suggestions on where to start?

This. Any thread with a petition or demand will be closed if not deleted.
You can start a thread to request it. Others have. But please understand some will disagree.
The best guilds I am in kick those that are not really participating which leads to having more players actually interested in being part of the guild vs being in as many guilds as possible. It leads to a more robust and active guild.
So maybe the answer is find better guilds if the ones you are in are failing to provide for your interests.1 -

they are not allowed on the fora and generally get closed soon after Maryland starts work (or instantly is during Maryland working hours)

✭✭✭✭✭Petitions are not allowed here, but polls are. If the poll is sensibly phrased with mature options lacking obvious bias and there is a large support for a proposal then it may attract the attention of ZOS.
As for the proposal itself, be wary of the performance implications of having even more guild data checked every time you log in, zone etc., quite apart from the fact that it's difficult enough to sustain the traditional guild loyalty and sense of community with 5 guilds, let alone even more. I suspect there would be a lot more cases of guild bank stripping as you can't possibly know the players you're recruiting and they won't really have any long-term commitment to a guild if they belong to say 9 others as well.0 -

✭Guilds are just plain flimsy. I don't expect it to be popular opinion but if we were limited to say one guild people would be more involved in their guilds and guilds as a whole would grow.
Or not. Who knows?2
