So it’s all well and good that this whole Indrik system is too complicated in the first place, as long as people are enjoying it I’ll play along.
What’s really bothering me is that they have a cap on event tickets. I have 12 stocked up now and I would have 30 without the cap.
So ZOS is keeping tickets we earned from us and are making us buy them in the crown store instead.
On top of that they didn’t tell us ahead of time that we’d need to buy more feathers than the original four to get all different Indriks.

I would love to know where to find this information. I have checked the website and can't find it.

Yes they did. The in-game guide even says explicitly that evolving the Nascent removes it from your Collections.
If you chose not to read it then that’s on you.
If you chose to let your tickets go to the void instead of purchasing duplicate feathers (a topic which was heavily discussed on the forums not long into the second event), that’s on you.

I was aware of how the evolution worked but I have not seen an in-game guide on this.
Where did you find this in game guide?

How many people actually know this exists?

Yes, I edited my post after seeing yours. Who looks at that often. Zos failed at explaining it if we have to learn about it from obscure sources.

Wow, amazing Fanboism. Congratulations - you found some information most people didn't know about and can profit from it. You won dudes. Why not chill rather than ramming it down the throats of everyone who didn't read the small print.
Personally, I don't much care. I got a mount. I probably could have had one extra feather somewhere along the line, but these events are grindy and unfun anyway. As someone else said, it's like a banquet (I would say more like a Shoney's cheap-ass buffet) and you can pick and choose what you want.
But I agree with the OP. The whole thing is kinda cheap. It's overly complex and confusing. Worst of all, I feel like Event Tickets are a form of Crack. We've been given a free sample with a fairly casual-friendly grind but now they will be in the Crown Store and the grind needed to get all the mounts will be extremely high to encourage Crown purchase.
There's a point where monetization becomes such that it leaves a sour taste and the game becomes unfun as a result. This might just be it, but we shall see.
As the system is unneeded complex and the guy giving the advice did not know,So it’s all well and good that this whole Indrik system is too complicated in the first place, as long as people are enjoying it I’ll play along.

Zos’ own employees told people to delete duplicate feathers, so cut your fellow gamer some slack geez.
