Wait, berry *fragments*?!

They could have at least made the berries generic, so although you would still need 4 per evolution, you could choose from a menu the type of Indrik you wanted, so at least you could have your favourite evolution first, and if you didn't much care about the others, you wouldn't have to get any more berries.

soooo let me get this straight...now I need to play another year through all events to get 1 berry of each type so I can get the final indrik skin?...I swear it feels like all this work and choir doesnt truly pays off...besides im riding my trustful snow sencha sooooo I would have liked if we would have had more stuff from the ticket vendor...like idk maybe costumes or cosmetics and stuff u can only get on that specific event...that would had been nice...not to mention if ur like me an all grabber then u would be sitting on tickets already with no point to actually do stuff on each event except grab what u miss and get 12/12 tickets then ignore the last weeks of event cuz u cant get the extra tickets anyway...

Only one I'm interested in is the Dawnwood. And if it's too much mutzing about, I'll just leave it as the nascent, which looks fine with my girl anyway.

This is just making you grind to recolour a mount you already have. If they can change the colour with berries why not just release the mount with the one time option to dye it?

They could have done a mount last year and you pick the colour with the final feather and a completely new mount this year instead of this berries nonsense.

It's just something new to keep the events fresh every year.
If it weren't for the tickets would you old timers continue to do the events that you've done for years now ?
Adding new items to events keeps everyone coming back.

I'm glad you enjoy the mount. Alot of people do. I don't think it's worth the time and effort for something that doesn't appeal to me visual tastes.

Actually, I love the elks too. Though - they're a bit problematic for me as I always see them as meat. We hunted elk for years, and boy.... it's WAY better than beef.

When I need something fun for a new bosmer wild child on my second account, it'll probably be whichever elk shows up first on the crown store. I'm not going to do the indrik frolic on the second account. Silly I may be, stupid I'm not. Old yes, mind wiped no.

I guess it was maybe sorta fun while it lasted but no more, I'm done. This straight up kills all incentive for me to bother wasting my time chasing these things. It's like the gifting griffon thing, why even bother?

Got confused for a second there. Fragmented berries would be worse, don’t give them ideas.

I feel the same way haha! I have been collecting the odd event ticket, but not bought one feather. I couldn't care less about the Indrik, I love my wolves

If you were on the forums soon after the Indrik announcement and saw the clarification posts, you would have known that getting all 5 would be possible, and have been planning for it. That would have meant participating as much as possible to get tickets, buying the feathers as they came available, and buying extra feathers on a designated alt any time earning more tickets would put you over the 12/12 threshold. Hopefully you're going into the next event with some extra tickets, and after you get 10 to buy your berry, keep accumulating them, buying missing feathers so that you can summon a new Nascent after you evolve your current one.

I don't understand why people get so worked up over mounts (whether event mounts, crate mounts, limited-time mounts.... meh, it's just mounts.)

It depends on how many tickets future events give. So far we've had a minimum of 1 ticket per day and a maximum of 3, which means it would take between 120 and 360 event days to get all the indriks.

How long it will be in real time is difficult to say. There isn't an event every single day, and people will miss days for various reasons. But it sounds like ZOS expects at least some people to be able to do it by the end of 2019.

Up to now the events gave up to 80 tickets, if math didn't fail me (16 during the witches festival with flawless 20 hours cycle, 22 during the CWC event, 21 during the undauntend event and also during the new life festival), so in theory right now we could have a nascent indrik and the feathers to summon another one.
Realistically I think there's people with the indrik, 3 feathers and about 5 tickets (I currently have the indrik, 1 feather and 12 tickets).
If we get the same number of tickets each quarter of 2019 it should be possible to have all the indrik versions by the end of the year, with careful management of the tickets, without spending a crown.

Hey ZOS I'd rather afk train my mounts in Black Desert and pray to RNG when breed them. Still lot more fascinating than doing repetive quests whole year to grind some berries and end up with a mount that will look like 100000000s of others.
Perhaps you should stop hiding behind "engine limitation" before introducing other copy paste features.
You could always upgrade your engine you know?

Just looked at the News post and I'd say its pretty certain that there are different berries for each indrik, the four dawnwood berries of XXXX are required to make a dawnwood indrik so themed berries? I'm certainly proceeding along those lines

in total sixteen different berries ( 1 of each ) and four different feathers ( 5 of each ) to collect.

While collecting the dawnwood berries if I end up with surplus tokens I'll just buy more feathers for now, they will be guaranteed useful.

read the whole thing carefully, each quarter gives berries for a different evolution and that quarter is your only chance of getting that evolution! sounds pretty harsh but it does mean purchasing berries becomes the priority. Feathers are fill in when you can afford it.

It's not a grind. It's entirely optional. You don't need the mount to progress, enter a dungeon, etc. It's purely cosmetic.

Go for it, or don't. It's not something that needs the drama llamas.

I don’t really understand. If the berries are locked into one quarter, you basically have to use all your tickets for that quarter on the berries. So you can’t get really buy any more feathers during that time. Are we meant to buy and hoard all the berries for the year and get the feathers next year? Why would we not just unlock a new berry every event, similar to the feathers?

It doesn’t really make a lot of sense, and it seems like intentionally frustrating design to force crown sales.

Most achievements have no impact on the game, some unlock a cosmetic item (be it a costume, a skin, a pet or a dye), others unlock the ability to buy furnitures or houses with gold; unless you're into either fashion or housing achievements have little impact in the game (I use them mostly to track the skyshards).

I don't see how adding an achievement to the indriks collecting may be considered milking it, honestly.

If you (generic you) are a completionist I can see the problem, but maybe MMOs aren't your thing what with things that you get only at a certain time and never again, things gated behind super hard or competitive content and things that require insane grind (like fishing) or just a lot of time (like researching crafting traits).
