They could sell anything as "something truly special". It's entirely meaningless until we know what they're planning.

    According to the hints, Elsweyr.

@Revokus regardless of opinions, there has been a lot of hints towards Elsweyr through various NPCs (They're spoilers, so search them up or play the game, but you can find these hints in Summerset and Murkmire).

I'm personally no huge Khajiit fan myself (I would much prefer Redguards, the Reach or even more of a Black Marsh particularly the parts which look akin to the beaches of Florida all-tropical like), but Elsweyr seems to be the biggest hint as of late.

Also a TES game set in Akavir would- for the lack of a better word -be very dumb. Akavir is very boring (the races in Akavir are interesting though) and by bringing TES to that area, you ruin the mystery their land upholds.

Welcome, Moon-and-Star, to this place where destiny is made.

I play healers or DPS often for vet dungeons and trials (NA, CP810+). I play mostly elves or Argonians.
I primarily play Damage-Based stuff in PvP, but occasionally I'll play something tanky or got the heals.
I also love gaining more knowledge both metaphysical and mundane regarding TES lore.

I also occasionally role-play, but I prefer playing the game.

Well I’m sure the devs would like to explore new lore for their next elder scrolls game for something truly special lol instead of the same old tamriel we already know. Especially when they said they didn’t have the technology a couple of years ago and almost didn’t want to make a next elder scrolls for a long time.

    @Revokus
Most lorenerds actually believes that statement refers to launching the more bold (and extremely infamous) piece of lore known as "Landfall". Which is essentially the Infinity War for TES. Regardless of whether or not that is true, what is the point of going to Akavir? There is nothing in Akavir worth visiting. Every culture there wants to kill Tamrielic races and there is no current-day (4E 201) events which coincide with Akavir. Hammerfell simply makes more sense because the Dominion was invested in Hammerfell, but were unable to actually conquer it.

After the colossal failure you FO 76 I think zenimax will likely go pretty dark for 2019 . You will see substantial smaller dlcs and charge more.

I'm not sure that FO76 will affect ZOS's ESO release plans, but Bethesda will probably be pushing Starfield hard after E3. Todd and Pete will probably crack a few jokes at the beginning of their presentations about FO76 and hope everyone switches their attention to the future.

I have a feeling it might be an imperial chapter with if we are lucky Necromancer class or skill line and spell crafting but I wouldn't get my hopes up since Gilliam etc seems to be against it.

I also like desert zones and Alik'r is gorgeous and one of the best looking base game zones imo so I wouldn't mind Hammerfell.

Who knows maybe it will be all west of cyrodiil with Hammerfell in a conflict type of chapter Imperials vs Redguards lol. Imperials would send their Necromancers(us) against the Redguards ! I bet they would like that xD

Honestly the zones I'd love to visit the most are Hammerfell and Elsweyr. They're both so mysterious and entirely different from the rest of the game.

I agree with @Revokus, Alikr Desert is beautiful and one of my most favourite zones in game.

What kind of hints for Elsweyr are there? Has somebody concrete examples?

Nothing is for certain yet. Datamined info is low right now.

There are some Datamined Baandari crown crates and 2 Seasons of "Crown Crate Classics/Greatest Hits" crown crates, as well as a couple Elsweyr assets. There's several mentions of Elsweyr in dialogue in Murkmire.

However, there's also the Riverwood Hen crown store pet that has a background that looks like Riverwood in ESO is already made, and I hear recently (within the past few updates), the area around Winterhold has a line around it now if you go out of bounds, which could indicate it being a zone separate from Skyrim?

    Murkmire Elsweyr name drops:
Many places, though I spent most of my years in the friendly cities of Elsweyr. It was there that the name Hands-That-Heal was gifted to me, due to my magical skill.\n\nAnd then, after many long years, I made the choice to come home."

"Kazrala may not have a lifetime, but … it would be quite the thing to learn, no? An amusing trick to bring back to Elsweyr, if nothing else.\n\nHmm. This one will keep trying."

"I may be used to handling dirty items, but it seems every inch of Murkmire is covered in mud. If only I could return to Elsweyr ….\n\nOf course, I would be executed immediately if I did. So it is a life of swamps for me."

"In Elsweyr, I was a philosopher. In Murkmire, I am a fisher. These professions are not too different though, no? Still I stand for long hours with nothing but my thoughts."

"Clean up this mess! This isn't Elsweyr, you know."

"We were business associates. I would buy her saltrice crop and sell it in far-off Senchal. The cats like to put moon-sugar on it.\n\nWhen Keema-Ru fell on hard times, I offered a loan. Unfortunately, she died before it could be repaid."

If it doesn't mean that it would be "The Elder Scrolls: "Smth here"", seems to be that we will see one of two daedric planes The Fields of Regret of Clavicus Vile or The Pits of Peryite, cause i don't remember any tamriel land that needs "the" before naming.

It could be a sea based chapter like "the abecean sea" or "the eltheric ocean". Theoretically, it could also be the first three letters of the chapter's name rather than the article "the", though I don't know any region that begins with those letters.

ZOS usually leaves hints on the next chapter through the current one. For example:

When you meet Naryu in the DB DLC, she remarks on returning to Vvardenfell. The following year Morrowind came out.

When you deal with the issues in Balmora and spare Veya she is shipped off to Summerset. The following year Summerset launched.

When you help Raz in Summerset, he mentions Elsweyr.

    Anyone seeing a pattern yet?

Most likely they will do something that wasn't done yet in the previous Elder Scrolls games, like they did with Murkmire.

Even though I would love to get back to Skyrim or other Cyro zones, I doubt they will feature them in a chapter.

Elsweyr is a solid posibility. It also needs to meet a big level of interest. Akavir doesn't appeal to many, as Elsweyr.

I would like an underground chapter, in Blackreach (Skyrim), full with dwemer stuff.

I don't believe we will see other Khajiiti forms. ZOS has been basically retconning this part of the lore for quite some time.

And the Clan Mother said, "Indeed, hairless scholar. I was born as Jode was waxing and Jone was new, so I am an Omhes-raht [sic]. My daughter here was born when Jode was waxing and Jone was full, so she is a Senche-raht. Thus we are nothing alike."
The scholar peered at mother and daughter and said, "You look very much the same to me."
And the Clan Mother said, "I have heard that those with round pupils have poor vision. It is a sadness."

It won't be Hammerfell since Elder Scrolls VI is going to be set there. Zenimax will want the Hammerfell map to match up closely with the mainline game, Of course they already screwed up lore by leaving out the Totambu Rainforest, Tigonus Swamp, Helkori Steppe and added in Hew's Bane. I still think they'll want to look as close to TES VI as possible. So we'll get the rest of Hmmerfell after TES VI launches so Elsweyr, Skyrim, Cyrodiil and Black Marsh will all get filled out first.
TES 6 is far ahead, so far ahead I don't think it would be relevant outside of some cooperation as in an better fit than in Morrowind and plenty of Easter eggs like visiting an old dungeon or finding an huge statue you managed to break during an quest and your TES 6 follower say, wonder who was clumsy enough to break that :)

Eastern Skyrim with Whiterun and Riverwood is kind of an one of nostalgia ultimate I think they will save for something special like after TES 6 or if the game start loosing lots of players.
