I undersrand why they did it from a pvp perspective.

The cost increase is there to PREVENT spamming the skill...if you are in favor of removing the cost increase you obviously dont remember the old days...its hard enough to catch a streaking sorc as it is anyway.

Tbh it's nowhere near as bad as nightblades continuously resetting the fight with cloak, or teleporting back up to the top of a tower with shade. And even spamming streak doesn't let you get away from stam builds using swift or spamming stampede at you.

As a non-sorc, main a mag DK, I have had hundreds of sorcs streak away from me whilst I pitifully waddle after them/mist form after them, I say leave them as they are. Before the cost increase it was just too easy to abandon every losing fight for mag sorcs. Now, at the very least, they can escape if needed and reset the fight, but not completely disengage against every spec. It’s fine as is.

I honestly believe the root of the issue here, is that most Mag Sorcs use Streak rather than the defensive morph designed as an escape rather than an offensive stun (ball of lightning?) and still expect it to be an insta-escape.

The option i voted for is a TERRIBLE idea I really want to see implemented.

Build an insane sustain sorc, cross the map in 5 streaks...so much potential.

....as a serious answer, I'd say leave it as-is, but removing the penalty (or reducing it a bit) wouldn't bother me, either.

I don't use Streak on my MagSorc anymore, but I remember that you get used to the loss of momentum... though it would be nice for it to be smoother to use. Personally, I'd love to see it get the Reflective Plate treatment; a few seconds of snare/immobilisation immunity after teleporting would be a much needed improvement imo -- since I vividly remember streaking with Talons still rooting me to the ground.

Increase the Streak range and maybe reduce the penalty by 25% any kid with a gap closer can run you down and with swift jewelry and speed pots there's no point in even trying to Streak lol

Streak's increased cost is annoying but it makes sense. The absolute worst thing about the skill is the clunkiness and self stun it has. For an insta cast it sure takes awhile to charge up and streak out of pressure.

LoL! NBs have voted for cost increase to stay, but in the thread were we are discussing cloak atm they say that they are against the cost increase treatment. Amazing the hypocrisy on these forums xD

So if cost increase stay on streak, can we finaly get the same treatment with cloak?

Streak needs greater range, gap closers out do it speed can still out run it.

Id prefer something like Streak no cost increase if you hit players (i.e must use offensivly) to make a clear divide between BoL and Streak.

I agree it sooooo slow. I would make it more of a teleport that works like cloak. Instantly disappear and reappear x distance away.

I'd say the cost increase it's a relic of a dead past... it's time to remove it (*), the game changed to much for it to still make sense, IMO.

(*) From Streak, I'm not too sure about BoL, tbh... the secondary effect of that one is a bit too strong, to allow for spamming it freely (again, IMO.)

I play often as a NB, and i vote for removing streak cost increase. Btw, NBs dont have shields like sorcs do, so that is a really really bad comparison
