Is scaling in random group bether ?

Last time I have played doing random was just impossible. Half the time it would group me with high level players and I would be so weak that 90% of the fight I was out of magicka.

Have they improved scaling ?

They changed how scaling works, and if you’re under cp160, you’ll be scaled to that. It applies to everywhere, in pve and pvp. It doesn’t matter if you’re in a vet or normal dungeon, you’ll be scaled to cp160 if you aren’t over that.

Arent you scaled only if it put you in a elite version of the dungeon ?

If you under level 160 it sorta scales you. You also get a boost just using group finder.

there are no elite versions of dungeons.
Every normal dungeon is as hard as the same dungeon with a different group. for example. normal wayrest sewers will have the same general difficulty. Enemies have the same hp, attacks and stats in every instance of the dungeon. The same applies to vet dungeons.
The only difference between vet and normal is that the enemies are stronger in vet, but they still dont scale with the people doing those dungeons.

You only get scaledif you are under cp160. But the scaleing applies to your char, making it stronger, not enemies weaker.

so the only difference if you run the same dungeon twice in a row, would be your group. if you get into a group that played long and have good gear and know how to play it feels easier than if you got into a group with bad gear and no experience
