Confused about Glyph

Should I use max magicka glyphs on my armor pieces or tri stat? I am currently using tri stat but I saw alcasts build and he suggests max magicka enchants. I am confused.

I am aiming for maximum damage output. I am already a glass canon. Ideally, I want to melt down vMA bosses.

Max Magicka will increase your damage done. So yeah, you should go for full Magicka enchants.

Typically pve dps go with all max magic/Stam with maybe one max health on a big piece.

2/2 Grothdarr Set. Both legendary. Divines
Grothdarr Helmet, light, max mag glyph, divines.
Grothdarr Shoulder, heavy, max health glyph.

5/5 Necropotence. All legendary, divines with tristat glyphs
Chest, Gloves, Sash, Shoes, Legs.

Spell Strategist Necklace, purple, arcane
Spell Strategist Rings, purple, arcane

Front bar: Legendary Spell Strategist Inferno Staff, weapon damage glyph. Infused.
Back bar: Legendary Spell Strategist Lightning Staff, flame damage glyph. Infused.

Front Bar: Volatile Familiar, Twilight Matriarch, Mages Wrath, Flame Clench, Hardened Ward.
Ultimate: destruction staff

Back Bar: Volatile Familiar, Twilight Matriarch (So I don't have to keep bringing them back when I switch bars), Liquid Lightning, Surge and Lightning Form.
Ultimate: Storm Atronach.

So, no use of tristat, I suppose.

I already have max health on my heavy shoulder. I'll change the rest to max Magicka.

Jewelry has Magicka recovery on it.

I use 1 or 2 Tri glyphs on infused Monster pieces. If you want max damage, single max mag/stam

Tri stat is most useful for tanks who uses both magic and stamina.
Else you general want magic for an magic build, usually with one large piece with health unless you have some from stats or set.
