I'd like to see morphs to branch deeper.
It'd be interesting because deeper morphs would have greater tradeoffs and wouldn't necessary be the best to have, instead pausing on a more basic morph.
endgame racial mutation would allow characters to embark on a long grind to make mutate a racial passive to suite their interests more. I want to use Orsimer an example: they have a passive that grants them speed. this ridiculous that they're the only race with a speed passive because if you look at running throughout the world just about every race is represented in the highest levels of competition.
'build presets' I don't think that I should need an addon to have more than one skill layout saved. I understand you've made a philosophical to neglect the players desire to have more than 2 bars, even if they can only use 2 in combat. on a side note, maybe the compass should be removed from the core of the game and turned into an addon, that would certainly add to immersion. being forced to dig through the weird menu system and grab skills quickly before combat starts is really odd. I understand everyone who plays the game seriously has an addon so this issue has not seen a lot of attention, but it's illogical to have it missing
these slots could also have weapon and armors associated with 'em.
personality: minor account wide buffs that are immutable and reflect innate virtues of the player. I am fast and a vegetarian. maybe eating ingame meats would make me sick and I would receive a 2% movement buff)
obviously these passives would need to fall under certain domains and be have their quantity limited.
this could players to think positively about themselves and engage in self reflection at some point...
also it would create a greater attachment to this particular MMO and make people ride out any fluctuations in population and meta climate (perhaps)
when I initially conceived this idea I was trying to address the issue of helf not fitting my play remotely and the fact that races aren't homogeneous.
now I am reconsidering that giving people flat passives for personality is necessarily a good idea and should a require a system of regular engagement in these attributes, through gameplay.
super casual great ideas if you want to implement them feel free to
