Racial passive idea

I had this idea for racial passives, I'm not sure if it would work but what do you guys think? My idea would have two passive path options for each race. One would be more geared for magical uses and the other physical. Each path shares a common passive that would be the defining racial passive for each race. For example argonian's options would be like this:
Path of the Shaman
Path of the Shadowscale
And each path shares Amphibian but an updated version of amphibian like +50% swim speed and instead if exp gain for somethiby each race gets its something that matters at max level. I dontnknow what do you guys think? I just feel like the current racial passives pigeon hole many of the class and skill options.

Argonian is probably not a great race to use as an example since it hardly favors magika over stam.

Zos has already made a statement on combat changes which included "rebalancing" racials. Depending on how one interprets what they say it could offer a choice. The thread is pinned so go check it out.
