I need help with Alchemist Certification Quest

Hello. I Have been trying to do this quest for days and it seems that there is no way to finish it. There is something buggy in it. At first, I messed up with the ingredients and didnt make the sip of health as requested. I looked for a whole day for the missing mountain flower with no luck and then I decided to do the most logical thing a mmorpg player would do: reset. I abandoned the quest and started over but the ingredients where not there this time, the quests didnt have pointers any more, and when i finally found all the ingredients (mountain flower in a barrel -not on the ground!) I made the potion which didnt go through! It is like I am not on that quest at all, yet I have it on my list. I read on wiki -somewhere that I will have to be careful not to consume the ingredients because the flowers wont appear and " the quest wont be fulfilled -you are screwed" . But honestly i was too dump to either understand what the quest was asking me I didnt try the ingredients, I just messed around with them on the bench until I had made the potion both times. Though I could be missing something, the quest is most likely buggy at best and if there is a trick for me to have progress, please, let me know. I could change my mind and start a different crafting , but then again, I could change my mind and start playing a different game as well. As for support, yes I let them know about my problem and asked them to reset the quest for my character....guess what... I got a message thanking me for the ...'bug report' and 'feedback'...

Make sure you are making the right level potion. It's been awhile since I did that quest, but you can make level 1 and level 10 potions at the beginning. Double check and make sure it is a "sip" level potion.

Ok, that is natural water, columbine and mountain flower. If you are on PCNA or EU let me know your username and I'll send you the mats if you have trouble finding them.

Actually it did work. I finished the quest without preparing the potion. You ve just save the game for me. Thanks for everything

You're so welcome! I remember when I started crafting (which was kinda late in my character's progression) I didn't have any idea how anything worked, so I know the feeling! It's good to start as soon as possible though, it will be incredibly useful as you level (that page I linked above has info about the other crafts, as well as many more things about the game, so it's a good resource).
