Wouldn't it be appropriate to give fans something for christmas ? While I don't believe nor celebrate such christian festivities, it would be a good opportunity. To surprise us with something, perhaps regarding the january update.
Same goes for Bethesda by the way. Some Elder Scrolls Blades footage, for me and Alino ? (The only 2 people being active on the TES Blades forum)

They’ll do the “Year Ahead” post this week or next. But that’s about it till 2019. Was a pretty bad year for the game, tbh. Nothing surprising or good aside from costuming. Summerset was a beautiful dud. I needn’t go into what the last two DLCs were probably like. Hopefully 2019 is better. They’d have to try to make it worse, though.
I think they need to realize it's almost like being in a relationship:
There will come times when we will get upset and voice our frustrations. When that happens, ZOS will mostly have two options:
- Patiently listen to the feedback, acknowledge and validate the frustration, and then work to mend the issues.
- Go defensive, put up walls, and go silent.
Option #2 usually just leads to more frustration on top of what was causing the original frustration.

Conclusion: ESO Live is not important to them. We need to get over it.

Between this and the combat updates disappearing, it almost makes me wonder if some sort of restructuring occurred within ZOS or if at some point they just decided to decrease the communication with the community.

They used to be EVERY two weeks, except for holidays.
And ESO Live USED to be so much fun to watch. Guest Devs, Community Guild Events Calendar, Fan Art, Q&A about fixes etc, Lore Time w/ Lawrence Schick, Devs playing new content, etc..
The very first one was Sept 23, 2014. They ran regularly till late 2016, then kinda slowed down, and now 2018 very few at all.

For those that never got to see ESO-Live in it's good days, here in ESO Live #2. (The very first one had technical issues...Lol).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiF4ylBz0b0&list=PL4tB6flpmULi4KhRolY9a41sIUs1mfrEk&index=37
Side Note: Also miss the "Year Ahead" with Paul and Matt...

It seems they do this because they are slowly abandoning eso, in a way that they invest less and less time and effort into it.
When I see all the masses of players, I doubt eso is doing poorly or that they will end it any time soon. But it's clear there are very very few ressources being put into eso anymore and Gina Bruno has proven that some time ago.
Where she admitted, they simply don't have the ressources to be more active. I can't remember the exact scenario anymore though.

I don’t disagree at all - it certainly feels like less resource is going into the game and definitely less communication, but where did Gina prove less resources were going into ESO?

It a quote that was taken out context from long ago. They have amazing plans for ESO but they still human. I think commicating with community is a bit under undervalued but game over years I seen improvements.

Being afraid of this shows us that they have kept at least a little bit of their sense for reality.
