It never used to be like this before ZOS introduced the MMR. There were plenty of people looking to run BGs, and people who excelled at BGs didn’t have to wait an eternity for the game to place them into a half-complete match.

Yep. The game starts like this. 2 vs 3 vs 4. Sometimes a third person will join the team after the start. No one left, it starts the match like that and stays like that without giving us the extra player. Very frustrating

I'm pretty sure they did.
I think ZOS did a good job giving to some players the opportunity of enjoy in first person the experience and good feeling of supremacy bullying other players that are more weak or in disadvantage. I'm happy for them.

Sadly on the other side are also necessary guys like me to use them as object of abuse.

Ok. How do I play?What am I to do at Battlegounds? Yeah, I tried it - I have some strange achivements on my stamsorc for that. Like, carry a ball (WHAT???) and kill some people (WHAT AGAIN?!).

As I have achivements I guess I... well... I was just pressing all the damn buttons. I was running - YES! AWAY! from what the hell was going on.
A strange thing above me, yes.
Killing people - well... I guess I did.
I was frighteneted shi...less and I was throwing Caltrops and making shileds all the time. And than I got killed. I said - WHOA! and went to smoke IRL. I didn't find sigarettes as I don't smoke for about 6 years. But well... I guess, I was at Battlegrounds?

Actually, for quite a while after BGs launched with Morrowind, the queue was utterly broken. Not only did it take ages to actually enter a match, half the time it was an entirely unbalanced mess both in numbers and in skill and the other time it was being disbanded before it started because people couldnt enter.

This is not to say the current situation for high mmr BGs is somehow acceptable ... 3v3v4manpremade is a shitshow. However in the past BGs where just as *** and reverting to that broken stage is kinda pointless.
