Suggestion for PvP -- RACING

Think of racing games like Mario Kart, etc. I think it would be cool to have PvP racing competitions in ESO. Maybe a group, or just one on one. Already, rocks, bad guys hitting you, etc., affect your racing speed. These could factor in. The best racer would be able to choose the best course to the target, avoiding such obstacles. Courses would just be "from here to there." To go even further, it might be possible to make it where you can collide with other racers, affecting your progress and theirs. Races could be categorized as long or short. I think it would be cool.

Of course, stamina characters have a bit of an advantage in racing, so I think -horse- races would be more likely, since there everyone would be on more or less equal terms once thesy finished their riding trainings, right?

And that would definitely be a good idea to implement! Possibly in some oblivion realm (like maelstrom arena for example), with an interesting race course... obstacles to jump, hazards to dodge, and anyone who gets unhorsed is disqualified... I could see that happen!

Do you think players would pay for this? Racing does not seem to be very popular and if it is not very popular then Zos will probably have troubles selling it.

With everyone going the exact same speed there wouldn't be any overtaking or suspense. Youd eventually learn the best path to take that wouldnt slow you down and then those who got in front would stay in front.

Add a skill line for mounted combat. Only usuable in pvp race zone. Then people can have racing builds to mix things up a bit.

I'm not saying mounted combat wouldn't be cool in cyrodiil. We all just know it wouldn't work.
