I'm hoping for a Monk class featuring the Khajiiti martial arts of Goutfang, Whispering Claw and Rawlith Khaj personally.

But the thing I'm most anticipating is, of course, the representation of the various subtypes of Khajiit. If one of the other bipedal ones becomes a playable race, that'd be amazing, but I won't hold my breath for that much - I just want to see them all in some form or another.

ZOS pretty much confirned that Skyrim is the next chapter in their end-of-year letter.
2019 is almost upon us, and it’s going to be a huge year for The Elder Scrolls Online. I can’t say too much just yet, and it is incredibly difficult to have to hold back details, but ESO will be 5 years old next year - a huge milestone for us and the community! As such, next year’s story and adventure will be something truly special for all Elder Scrolls Online players. We are so excited to be able to share it with you soon, and we can’t wait to see how you all put all the pieces together starting early next year.

The emphasis on the 5-year anniversary and how "special" this chapter is going to be for all the players definitely doesn't sound like Elsweyr is on the way. Skyrim would be perfect for a 5-year anniversary expansion. It would cause the game's population to easily quadruple overnight. It would also be smart to get Skyrim out there before TES VI comes out. Once TES VI is out, no one will care about Skyrim anymore and everyone's new favourite zone will be Hammerfell.

I guess the datamined Kahjiit stuff was for a dungeon DLC.

Good point, but maybe Skyrim will be the chapter and Elsweyr a DLC? I'm just hoping they don't relegate Elsweyr to dungeons, that would be terrible considering how many people have been asking for it from the beginning.

I hope you are incorrect. I played so much Skyrim and never got bored but the rift and eastmarch as they are in eso are easily my least favorite zones. I only go there if absolutely necessary.

Skyrim is already in the game? no reason to make that a chapter. would be the most dissapointing and underwhelming chapter ever.
Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

I didn't really enjoy Stonefalls or Auridon, but Vvardenfell and Summerset were fantastic. The expansion zones are a huge step up in quality over the base game zones.

If we have a sucessive chapter in a AD zone, that would be another huge disrespect to all Daggerfall Covenant players and fans. And before someone says Craglorn and Orsinum were in DC zones, the first one doesn't develop any DC races lore (only Celestian and Nedic) and the second dlc, though may be considered a expansion for the present standarts, it doesn't continue the Daedra war/invasion or the main story.

And I said "another" because the Zenimax contempt for DC is well known. If the cinematic trailer doesn't convince you of that, look at all the changes in PVP in this update (making the bridge between Alessia and Sejanus a dead zone, and both factions attacking Glademist). We have so many examples of this in the past...: on the release, the Undaunted enclave in Stormhaven were the only one you couldn't loot urns, coffins, barrels, etc. (without being accused of robering); you couldn't almost loot any Lorkhan Tears in DC Imperial City base on the release (while in EP and AD you could almost get rich); etc., etc., etc.

Also, Khajiit already have a trial, the best NPC, 2 motifs, skin, etc. And what DC fans have? The only main NPC dead or vanished, Darien (while AD and EP have Razzum Dar and Naryu in every chapter). I also have to say..., the Breton hero costume is the worst... It's incredibly how even in Hew's Bane (Hammerfell), the main NPC is an Altmer (Quen)...

I have no issue with Any Race becoming base game, they should probably award those us that have already purchased it with 4 crown crates though, just to avoid any frustrations some may have.

I dont think the game needs any more races. If they were to grant 'sub races' under the 10 races, then you should be able to change them with a gold cost (and crown I guess). That way they can make 3 sub classes or 'factions' of each race with perks toward mag, stam, and damage mitigation.

Four things I want to see in the next chapter
    1. Level redesign
    2. Mundus stone at character creation
    3. Culling of useless sets (we have a quantity over quality problem at the moment)
    4. Armories

    --
Level system - scrap the CP160 and just make it Level 100.

So, every toon essentially doubles in base level. All your level 50 characters, become level 100. Level 40 becomes 80. Leveling to 100 takes a little longer than it would to level to 50.

All items that are CP160, become Level 100.

CP is now totally disconnected from max level items.

100 Attribute points, but they grant lower resources, so 64 points in stam is roughly equal to 100 points in stam.

Skills rewards in leveling remain the same.

    --
    Mundus stone at character creation

If you own any chapter, you'll notice your character has no mundus stone, nor do they have access to a mundus stone without venturing out of the zone. This, for new players especially, that may not know about mundus, is pretty bad. Divines is the best trait in the game for most DPS players, and most healers (on small items at least).

ZOS should allow for a mundus stone at the character creation point.

The base game has mundus stones in triplicate in each faction zones. ZOS should remove them all from base zones, and relocate them to all Craglorn. Craglorn is a very mundus orientated zone. I recall a quest where you need to charge a few of the stones in Craglorn, that could be a requirement to change your mundus, to restore the mundus stones and free the Warrior, Thief and Mage, granting the player the ability to change stone from their creation stone after that point.

Presently as it stands, divine is pointless for new players, and the whole Mundus system seems somewhat hidden and out of whack at the moment.

    --
    Useless sets.

With every chapter and most zones we end up with about 3 crafting sets and 3 overworld sets. I'd prefer this be dropped to 2 crafting sets and 3 overworld sets.

ZOS should have data on what sets are simply not used, instead of finding ways to buff it, or nerf others, they should just cut their losses and focus on quality over quantity at this point. This was not a problem in the past, and it may not be a huge problem now, but as the game grows, the set number will increase and we will definitely see a quantity over quality problem. To slow this, just sticking with 2 crafted sets is ideal.

Ever since T1, the need for the base craftable sets in triplicate is also obsolete. They should remove 2 sets from each base zone leaving behind the one that fits best with the lore of the region.

What to do with the free'd up real estate?

    --
    Armories

Each zone, where the removed crafting station was should have an Undaunted Armory in its place, where the player can store and collect set items in the game. How it works.

    1. ZOS announces a zone that has an armory open much like how the Undaunted Motifs are working right now.
    2. Players can farm sets in that zones Dungeons / Trials / Overworld and rack them up.
    3. To start an item you first need to find it (any trait) and deliver a Gold quality item.
    4. You can then add additional traits of gold or purple grade.
    5. Gold items rack up instantly, purple items rack up but take 5 days to complete and require a research slot.
    6. Players only have a finite window to rack up items, so they may be encouraged to gold their items asap to speed the process.
    7. The character must have already researched the trait in order to deliver it to an armory.

Some traits can provide permanent perks for instance, if you have a Mothers Sorrows Gloves and you have racked up Divine, Impen and Training, you can wear the gloves with Divine trait activated but because you have collected Training, the level requirement has been removed, and as you have racked up Impen, the durability loss has halved.

This could also result in removing items from the loot table. Some people have requested that some traits be removed (or much lower drop rate) from the game in the past (less complaints since Transmute became a thing) or a smart loot system where Stam or Mag sets have a much lower change of dropping a weapon totally useless to the set (Inferno staff of Vicious Ophidian). It would be nice that if such items are dropped, that if you were to rack them up, they won't drop again. Likewise for Training items.

Mounting skill lines sound nice. Especially, the horse racing. Yeah, adding more mini-games in general would be cool.

As for the weapon lines, yeah it doesn’t excite me as much either. Might be fun, but as for adding new skill lines I’d prefer more interesting in-game groups to join like Spinners, Shadowscales, and Wyrd. None of those would match for a Khajiit area though. Maybe a merchant skill line? No idea what that would mean. Always up for a fun surprise, so any skill line would be welcome.
