Friends list is wrong

Hi,

I have like 30 Xbox friends playing ESO, but only 4 are showing in my friends list in-game. Is it a bug?

The sync between the Xbox Live friends list and the ESO friends list can take some time to complete. Please note, only friends who have logged in to the same ESO console server will show up on your friends list. On Xbox One, you must also be mutual friends, which means that you need to follow each other's accounts in order to appear on your respective in-game friends lists.

If you have just added another person and do not see them populate, make sure you log all the way out of the game and back in again.

In addition, if you are having trouble seeing your friends, they may have altered their privacy settings on their console. You can find information on privacy settings here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/security/default-privacy-settings.

We recommend you and your friends ensure that the "See you're online" and "See your game and app history" options are set to "Friends". The "Adult default" privacy setting automatically ensures they are set correctly.
