How does changing my ESO+ work?

I was going on a monthly plan with ESO+. My wife is telling me to do the 3 month plan. So I changed it, but I didn't get any crowns and it says, "my next payment will be Dec 28. Does that mean I haven't been charged on the Credit Card yet? So I am still on my monthly time for two more weeks and then I will get my crowns and be on a 3 month plan that. Is that correct?
