Discount on Recent T-Shirt? Doesn't work. Or Did it?

Hello and greetings all, so this morning I get this email from the ESO team alerting me I've got myself a discount code for the new contest winner T-shirt design.
Hhhmmmm, ok I said. So I clicked the link, logged in, obtained my discount code, and was about to buy the T-Shirt, but the T-Shirt itself cost FOUR HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS!
YEAH THAT'S RIGHT, YOU HEARD ME.
The shirt cost was $440,002,001.00 so when I applied my discount code it came out to $14.99.
So just based on that, what was the real value of the T-Shirt and or what was the percentage value of the discount coupon, and or did I even get a discount?
What say you?

✭✭✭✭✭I think the idea is that you're not supposed to be able to buy it at all without the code, but because of how the store is set up they can't upload items without a price and can't restrict it to only being bought with a code. So they set the default price to be utterly insane - so even if you had that much and were willing to spend it for a t-shirt you probably wouldn't be able to put the payment through on your card.

✭✭✭✭✭Having seen your screenshot I'm not impressed to find that the UK price is £14.99. I can't remember the pound ever having a 1:1 conversion rate with the dollar, and even allowing for the fact that tax is included in that and may not be in your screenshot I'm pretty sure it still works out more expensive.
