Let us fill containers in open world.

Currently you can only remove items from chests, sacks and so on. There is no option to put stuff in. I find that to be a bit silly and unrealistic. If you open a chest at full inventory there's no option to put move items from your inventory across into the chest to facilitate looting it. Yes I know you can clear space before opening the chest but the in the time spent junking items someone else can come up and loot the chest and take your mother's sorrow inferno staff. I'd like to see chests and contains changed in two ways. Firstly containers other than chests should have a lock on them like cabinets and nightstands. Bags, backpacks and regular ( not heavy) sacks could have "knots" that function as locks. Secondly, we should be allowed to put items into containers. It'd be nice to leave other items for players. I know that there will inevitably be trolls who leave one potato in a chest. But so what? Zoe already trolls us with chests, as anyone who opened a master chest only to get arm cops can attest to. If a player leaves items in a chest the chest should then lock and and the difficulty of the chest would be determined by the colour of the item left inside. So leaving a purple ring would result in a harder lock than leaving a white ice staff would. What are your thoughts on this?

I thinks that it isn´t really that necessary. If you have full inventory, just destroy something, or manage better. A system to leave items in open world containers would create many problems, not only in the form of trolls, but also consider spawn rates. If you loot a chest, but leave something inside, when will the chest despawn and respawn with full items again?

It'll respawn on the same schedule as it does now. I personally don't mind opening a chest with 2 lock picks inside, I just wished lock picks would have some kind of value. And if another player put their "trash" in the chest, guess what, I would loot it and sell it to my personal vendor. Because that 5 gold from trash is 5 gold more than I had a few seconds ago.

Please, no. Just let it despawn.

They just need to allow destroying inventory items in the pickup window.

Definitely no to this idea ... don’t give other players your inventory trash.

Don't be so cynical. I believe that players would also leave good stuff behind. And you can get this "trash" in a chest right now anyway.

Having tons of containers to loot that are locked might be fine if you are trying to power-level legardman but would get horrifically tedious once you have that skill line up where you want it. Enter a delve, unlock all five bags and all three barrels then move on to the next chamber in the delve? Please, no.

I also disagree with putting items into containers. There are numerous alternatives to manage inventory.
