Unplayable lag this evening

I was in Hel Ra Citadel this evening with 300 - 5000 ping. I could barely use skills and got disconnected twice. After the last time, I gave up. I've experienced crippling lag in PvP, but this is the first time PvE has been this bad for me. I wonder what gives?

Did you happen to upgrade your NVIDIA drivers? Couple threads around with info about how bad it gets if you got the "latest and greatest" drivers.

Roll 'em back.... Do a looksee on the first forum index list - there's a thread that has the info you need, sorry can't remember the title just now.

Best practice: do not EVER do the latest NVIDIA drivers if you're not having issues with some game or the other. My drivers are probably 6 months old. Works for me.

3 DC’s in five minutes. Went and played GTA 5 for the last five hours...Performance in this game is becoming a joke...

Golly gee. Another Akamai related issue. Noooo. Let’s not review our contracts, SLA’s and performance metrics with them. Let’s just let them ruin our playerbase with packetloss and latency issues.

Heck at this point DDoS attacks would be less of a performance hit than using Akamai services...
