You cannot really use doing normals as any sort of argument. I don’t even bother with shield in normal anything or self heal or any healer.

well there are better players and there are not so good players, when it comes to survivability or DMG

no offense but 30-33k DPS will land you in the "not so good players" category, as does your survivability.
I dont say you are bad, but there are many players who are better, and some who are worse.

BUT the 1s Casttime would have destroyed nearly the endgame PVE raid Community if it woul dhave goen live.
You cannot preved Death by casting a shield with Casttime, its just not possible.
Shields before the patch werent that much stronger, just becaus ethey looked biger, they werent affected by resistances.

Yes they where nerfed, but not only because they were strong in PVE, PVP was also a factor here.
The 40% max health cap is too low IMO aswell, but thats how they are now, so we deal with it.

By doing 30k SINGLE TARGET you melt everything so fast in a normal dungeon, that it should be barely able to scratch you.
