Xbox 12 Month Subscription Crown query

I've just switched from a 1 month rolling subscription to the 12 month subscription and was under the impression you got all your crowns at once, but I've only got the usual monthly crowns.

Will I have to wait and get the crowns each month or should I have got the 19800 crowns at renewal

I think you should have gotten all 19800 when you were charged for the full 1 year.

I bought the 1 year Xbox sub too and have yet to get my crowns. I bought it a week and some days ago.

Xbox for whatever reason gets crowns distributed monthly not all at once they have me the lame excuse because of how crowns are sent on xbox.

Yeah...unfortunately, on XB we're still going to have to put up with a monthly allotment of crowns. Sucks, really, as it means that I'll still have to either pass on things to save up Crowns or continue to buy Crown packs when there's something I want and don't have enough Crowns from my sub.

Now, that can happen, certainly, when you get a lump sum, if you've spent all of them and something comes up that you want, but it's less likely you'd need to, or at least you can hold out more easily until a sale.

Hopefully, though, 3, 6, and 12-month subs will lessen the likelihood of not getting our monthly allotment when our sub renews, since it now only renews 4, 2, or 1 time(s) a year.

Yeh I was under the impression you got them all at once based on how it is advertised, was hoping to get something this month while the offers were on, but now going to have to wait a bit longer

Another reason one should have access to a crown "balance sheet". I knew I had "over 15k crowns" and was expecting another 19800 when purchasing the annual. When I was, over 24 hours later, only sitting at a balance of 16900, I knew something was off, so submitted a ticket.

Knowing they were, very recently, having issues with XBO + ESO Plus + Crown allotment, I submitted a ticket. First response was 11.5 hours later saying I don't have ESO+; did I purchase the 1 year for another account?

My reply was a simple "no" followed by the suggestion to check my XBO account, as the ticket was submitted as an XBO ticket and not a PC ticket.

A mere 30 minutes later, ticket was closed with the following note: we can confirm that you received your crowns for the month.

We *can* confirm. Literally not "we confirm" but "we have the ability to confirm"

In the mean time, I am going to attempt to remember to update a spreadsheet every time I purchase or spend a crown, since a purchase history/balance sheet is not available for, at minimum, XBO players.

i'm sure there has been a time when I've not received crowns while paying monthly

but I agree we should have some form of account history of spending/buying crowns as these are actual purchases

I just don't want to get fobbed off when I've not received them and they say you have

Yeah...when I fell victim to the "no crowns allotment" bug, it was August/Sept/Oct of the first year. I read about people not getting crowns on the forums and then checked my own balance to see I hadn't gotten them. That's when I created a spreadsheet that I use to this day, logging every time I get my monthly allotment or purchase crowns and every time I buy something (what it was and the amount).

I haven't had any issues since then with not receiving my monthly crowns, but I've always been prepared if it ever happens again.

Still stinks, though, that we have to still receive the crowns monthly, rather than in one lump sum. But, I appreciate finally being able to get a discount on my sub like PC players have always had.
