Someone in my random group told us that a great way to reduce lag was to type your own name in the search tab of the guild roster. It reduced cpu usage or wathever. I thought this was a load of bs, but I tried it anyway, since it doesn't cost much. Well, believe it or not, after that I was able to rush the flags in 3 heavily defended keeps without too many lag spikes and no crash at all. Well, not too many lag spikes for this game anyway...

The loading screens have been made longer so that people that read slower have time to read it, but that's not all. People who appreciate fine art have had the loading screens made longer too so they can appreciate it for longer. in other games you often don't get a chance to read the tip text or look at the beautiful loading screen art because they load so quick. I'll have you know that ZOS will have none of that, so after a long and difficult dev process they finally came up with this brilliant solution.
Just came across this solution for low FPS, which seems to be working for people. Maybe it could help with loading screens? Do addons affect the duration of loading screens?Someone in my random group told us that a great way to reduce lag was to type your own name in the search tab of the guild roster. Hi. This is the wrong thread and i had found it out years ago but had never seen the reason, why i shall write it down somewhere..
ps.: this eternal screen stuff is not much guild related. A "solo" char is getting them to.

Let's rekindle this discussion since we still have 4 minute load screens. What in the world....
How does ZOS fix them, then break them, then fix them, then break them. These may be their best broken load screens yet.

I've heard this as well, but I think that's more for in game performance, not loading into the game or an area.
