Daily Alchemy Addon Not Working?

Does anyone have any experience using Daily Alchemy or Potion Maker? I have both of these addons installed and they're supposed to make the alchemy writs when you open the alchemy table...... but they don't do anything. I have no problem making the writs normally, but it's frustrating me that I have 2 alchemy addons that tons of people use and for some reason they refuse to work for me? I used bug catcher and I'm not getting any bugs..... the addons just aren't creating the writs?

Tried deleting ALL my addons and only installing Daily Alchemy... didn't work. Then deleted that and installed Potion Maker. Didn't work. Wtf is going on?

Check if you have all lib files required

I use potion maker. There is a box at the bottom of the pop up alchemy screen that says something to the lines of:

Use only ingredients for quest or some such. click the box and hit search, That is how I have always done it with potion maker.

I downloaded LibAsync 1.8.1 and it didn't do squat

I'll check this to see if it does anything. This is so infuriating.

I literally just downloaded anything in minion containing the word "lib"

That is good way to go.
Random addons stopped working for me ever since summerset.
I downloaded all libs, and no issues with addons stopping to work .

Screw this, I'm done. Any friggin addon needing this much troubleshooting isn't worth squat.

Yeah, thanks, I reached out to the creators of both addons to see if we could find the problem somewhere. Sorry for getting frustrated earlier, @Rake - thanks you guys for helping out

Does it not work at all or craft crap?

The latter happened to me some time ago when the toon busy with crafting failed the knowledge of some weird negative potions. In this case, ditch the quest (unless a master writ), craft one set of potions from your memory (and probably some help of ingredient tables online), start new crafting quest and watch your toon do it.

It doesn't craft anything at all -

However, I've discovered that the addons work for my characters that has all of the traits identified for the alchemy ingredients? So do all of the traits of the different herbs and other ingredients need to be discovered before any alchemy addons work? For example, I need to craft all the different potions I can in order to discover all the traits before it works correctly?

I thought that's what the lib was for, and I would have thought that if that was the case, it would have been said so in the addons description.

I didn't think the alchemy add on worked automatically..you have to select the box that says use only quest ingredients and the one that says only two) it then does a search...it then pulls up all the recipes that will work...be sure to be on either the poison screen or the potion screen.

Yeah that's the Potion Maker addon - the Daily Alchemy addon is the one that makes it automatically. I'm pretty sure I've found the issue, though. In order for either of these addons to function properly, you need to discover all of the traits of the herbs/ingredients in alchemy. If you haven't discovered them by making potions already, then the addons can't do anything.

I thought that's what the lib files/addons were for, but I guess not? The lib files don't actually seem to do anything. At least for me.

Yup, exactly. It's just strange it doesn't actually say that for either of the addons. That would have saved me a bit of frustration. I mean, it's no problem making random potions to discover the traits, it's just the fact that I thought it wasn't working correctly because nowhere did it say "be sure to have all traits discovered before trying to use this addon" lol
