I purchased the Fang Lair and scalecaller motifs several months ago and just noticed during the undaunted event that the Scalecaller is not showing in my lore library

Personally, I have never bought any Motif from the Crown Store, so I can't say how they are implemented. I assume that your character received a Bind-On-Pickup Lorebook that contains all of the motif "chapters" for the respective weapons and pieces of armor. Reading the Lorebook results in the character learning all of its Motifs. I have found Lorebooks for the Imperial Motif during the course of play, and have had no problem using them. So: did your character learn any Scalecaller motif before you bought the set from the Crown Store? I don't know what happens if the character has already learned one or more of the motifs for the Style. On the face of it, the character should learn each and every motif that the character does not know, but the software might have a bug that prevents that from happening. Caveat emptor.
