Communication and business

1. This thread is constructive.
2. This thread is based on facts and real actions which happened in the past and which are happenning right now.
3. This thread will be probably closed due to censorship.

Today I remembered two messages, important messages from @ZOS_GinaBruno : here and here.

I fully understand that tactics of "silence" is a good one. People will cool down and forget about problems, especially before Christmas and New Year.
I fully understand that communication between company Zenimax Online Studios and players is zero. I mean not just nearly, but zero.
I fully understand that when I open "Dev tracker" I see that ZOS work mostly in Crown Store related threads and simply ignore "General Discussions". But I can add here that moderators do their job really well. Sorry, I know it is not allowed to discuss their actions, but I just try to say they actually read threads and do what they should do, it's a compliment. Compliments are allowed, aren't they?
I have no questions to Zenimax because I understand that business and business. Company makes money in a way it can do. Someone sells fruits, someone creates and sells airplanes, someone sells virtual MMO things.

But I have questions to players. Let's skip many misunderstandings which exist in every product, also in games.
Does it really works in that way? Can I really ignore my customers, throw mud in them, suck out money and they will still love me?
Don't get me wrong, but I trully don't understand. Everything looks so illogical to me. Not ZOS itself, no, but players behavior. ZOS does everything right - make money and lower costs.
I can't understand players. Not newbies, because for a new player everything is soooo interesting and fascinating, I know this feeling well... But others? You really throw a lot of money for virtual things, okay. But how it works in a situation which is described above? Or it doesn't really matter, but the fact that you have a lot of fancy things in a game which others don't is a kind of goal/competition and satisfaction?

Let's say it's a sort of science interest. I'd like to know what move people to spend money again, again and again even they don't get what they paid for. Or get, but partially. Like brand-new smartphone with 2/3 working screen only and unstable system.

Sorry for simple English and possible mistakes.
