Bit of a rant here.
Anyone else feeling they rarely complete the stamina sets? We've had Spriggan's NECk two times. Then we had Hulking Draugr and Bone Pirate necks months ago. The complete stamina sets never ****** comes to that sneaky ***... Heem Jas', when will we see the neck? Before ZOS close their servers?
Ironically - I didn't even bother buying an Automaton neck because of this, because I thought it would be all the same. So I bought the rings and had to gold out the darn neck afterwards...
I also kind of see a pattern here:
Witchmother's Potent Brew recipes, you have a dozen of them after the event - even if you don't even try to farm them. Dubious Camoran Throne; I've had ONE recipe since 2016 (even though I tried farming it)... It also takes Beetle Scuttle (3 of them), which is not a really easily farmed ingredient.
We have Clockwork Citrus Filet, takes ONE Perfect Roe to make; and we have the Artaeum Takeaway Broth, takes FIVE Powdered Mother of Pearl to make, and yeah - try to farm or buy that to the same price as a Perfect Roe, will you?
We have Bone Pirate, a Dungeon set - Bright-Throat's Boast appears, readily available - an overland set (and you had Lich and several other similar sets before that). I could go on. Haven't really tried the Clockwork drink with Bright-Throat's Boast, but I suspect it will work; but of coooourse the Artaeum "food" doesn't work with Bone Pirate. Who would've thought that!?
Don't come and nag about Hulking Draugr vs Necropotence now, same thing there - Necro is an overland set, you can BUY it (and also, you've had the chance to buy the golden jewelry; several times if I'm not wrong). And max magicka and max stamina is not nearly the same thing. A LOW max magicka, is considered a rather high max stamina. You can't reach a max stamina of similar levels as high max magicka: unless you are an emperor werewolf in Imperial Physique in Imperial City, or whatever.
Could we simply say magicka is the easy way out, a kind of "handicap"? I play both, so I don't really take any sides here, but for me it's obvious.
