Hello !

I've play this game from two month as a very casual (mostly gathering and craft) and a friend plan to join me for play with me.
So I want make another char to start with him for explore the content as two noobie casual.

He plan to be a DPS and I think I'll aim for a Warden or Templar healer (love how them skill look).
So I'm here to ask you which class synergize well ? I've look a bit on Google but post are from 2015-2017 so just wanna a more recent information ^^

My friend got only the base game for now (Morrowind) and I got all (Summerset + Warden + Imperial + eso+).

Thanks to all of you who gonna spend their time to help us ^^

Have a nice day !

Argonians have an Edge in Healing, but really any Race can heal effectively. Under healing is not a thing in this game.

So go lizard, or go with what you like.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Hello, I was not really looking for a race, but for 2 class (heal + dps) who are good together.
Maybe it's my fault, my English isn't that great ^^

I can't fully answer your question but I can fully endorse a magic-focused templar healer as a potent/flexible character. Mine can comfortably duo with almost anyone - though less effective with another healer or templar due to redundancy. She packs potent buffs/debuffs, heals, area and single target damage and is effective up close or at range.

    Hey, thx you :)
Is it possible to get an exemple of build to get some idea about important skill ?
Also, do you aim for dual reco-staff, or 1 reco + 1 destro staff ?
Or maybe you play it as a tank-healer with frost staff ? I know their is alot of option that why I'm a bit confuse and ask for advice ^^'

Go with Alcast's Templar Healer build, and you can add in something like the beam or sweeps. Lightning staff + Elemental Blockade+Heavy Attack is fairly potent DPS for a healer as is.

Also you could consider both running this (which is what I run with my duo partner to do Vet Dungeon pledges).

I like resto staff + lightning staff. The resto staff for a healer is a no brainer but I augment it with a lightning staff for three reasons:
    1. Elemental Drain - debuff + magic steal.
    2. Blockade of storms - off balance debuff + area damage.
    3. Passive that boosts area damage while on that bar - helps the damage component of my shards and sweeps.

I think a Warden Healer would be great for you and you friend can really choose any class they want. Warden has a lot of great group utility, you can use Natures Embrace to target your friend and both of you get healing over time and ultimate at the end, you can give them resistance buffs and Major Protection plus Minor Toughness (10% max Health).

Classes that i think work well with a Magicka focused Warden is either Templar or Sorcerer as they have a group buff that helps magicka users.

    Thanks you everyone !
    It really help.
I've look at link and video and my friend is ok to go MagSorc and I think I gonna go with the Templar healer.
I've also look at Warden vsTemplar topic comparaison discussion on reddit, and the Templar seem more suited to my play-style as healer ^^

So for race I think it's High Elf for Sorc.
And for Templar I don't know if I go Breton or Argo. I mean, argo seem better, but in my head, RP wise Breton fill more the Templar job (Yeah I know, stupid logic ^^)

I have both a Breton Templar and Warden, and both perform well and healers. The Templar is better in a hybrid DPS/Healer role, and the Warden is better in a hybrid Tank/Healer role.

Pairing a Sorcerer with a Templar will work very well, because the Templar provides Minor Spell Damage for both, while the Sorcerer provides Minor Spell Critical for both.

The Sorc has access to Encase early on, which is in my opinion the best CC in the game. The Templar's class heals mean that both can use destruction staves for good damage output, and your Templar can wait until unlocking bar-swapping at level 15 to start using a restoration staff.

The main issue is I don’t know what your friend plans on playing?

If he wants dps you can both run warden

You be the magicka healer, he can be the damage stamina.

Or you can both run Templar’s etc. it’s very dependent on play style.
    PvP needs more love.

Sorry, just got back to this.

Wardens have multiple excellent heals in the Green Balance line, plus the Minor Toughness buff for +10% max health to anyone they heal. And these can be used by either magicka or stamina builds. When I tank on my wardens, I keep Lotus Flower (either morph) active which heals myself or an ally with every light/heavy attack. I keep Leeching Vines (Living Vines morph) active so that any monster that attacks me, which is most of them if I'm doing my job, has Minor Lifesteal applied, which means that my allies are healing for a small amount (about 800/sec) while doing damage. Then I have the Green Balance ultimate, either Morph, for large emergency heals on 1 person, and to bring everybody back up to full after big AOE shots from bosses. Also keep Fungal Growth morph slotted for self and targeted burst heals. If you use the Ritual Mundus, you get a large bonus to healing done for even bigger numbers.

    Bar setup for above is:
Frost Staff: Inner Rage (mag) or Beast (stam), Ice Fortress, Lotus Blossom (mag) or Green Lotus (stam), Elemental Blockade, flex slot, Enchanted Forest ultimate.
1H/S: Pierce Armor, Heroic Slash, Shield Charge (stam, either morph) or Frozen Device (mag), Leeching Vines, Soothing Spores (stam) or Enchanted Growth (mag). Permafrost or Aggressive Warhorn ultimate.

I played that setup on my Orc (stam) Warden, running Werewolf Hide jewelry and weapons, Ebon Armory down the body, and Bloodspawn monster set. The ultimate generation from it was great, the max health from both Ebon and Minor Toughness really boosted the group. However, I've recently acquired 1H/S and Frost Staff from Blackrose Prison, and I'm considering losing the monster set, putting Werewolf Hide on waist and hands (lowest armor rating), Ebon on head and shoulders. That should really help stamina sustain; shield charge, light attack, pierce armor, swap targets and repeat until the bulk of the adds are aggro'd. Then put Pulsar in the staff flex slot for the AOE debuff (-10% max health 30 seconds), which thanks to the Blackrose staff will reduce cost and add a dot.

Witchmother's potent brew is the food I use on the stam build to help with Max Mag, and mag sustain.

    Hope that helps.
