Mostly all PUG's are bad. Find a guildie or two and roll through..don't let it ruin your day/night.

Actually there is a post on the front page about a bad guild experience. When you get guilds that have 500 people in them guilds are basically just like PuGs anyway. The real issue is there is no way for the players to fairly police the community so you are going to run into jerks all over the place.

Jerks are everywhere, yes. Large guilds have many poor players, absolute yes. Try and seek out other players you consider at your level of competence and run content together. There are a lot of good folks out there, more than the bad IMO.

Most PUGs I've run with, both trials and dungeons, are average to very good. We just tend to remember the disasters because they are so memorable. For example, I still recall one from months ago where the off-tank wiped us at the Warrior in vHRC because he was busy texting in group chat, defended himself by claiming he solo tanked vMOL, claimed it was our fault because our burn wasn't high enough, even though we wiped on the first set of adds, AND HE WAS TEXTING DURING THE BATTLE REQUESTING GEAR.

Funny part was when he showed up in a PUG for vAA the next day and half the group shamed him into leaving. I still remember him claiming he was needed in vMOL anyway as he left in shame.

Pretty much every PUG is bad for me. Fake tanks, fake healers, DPS who do nothing but LA spam.

People randomly disconnecting. People randomly going AFK. People complaining when they die.

I've learned to just go numb and ignore it. I've accepted that most of the players in randoms are going to be bad, so I'll just be good, and somehow that'll even out to the group being decent.

    I can handle bad players.

"Fake" tanks annoy me on my healer.

But its the toxic players that make it no fun to play.

I realize not everyone can be in a good mood when they PUG a dungeon, but there's no reason to pass it on.

Experienced my first time in a pug group with what seemed to be an actual fake tank. Bosses were attacking everyone; it was chaos. We got through it well enough because it was a normal dungeon. No one said anything.
