Golden Vendor _Jewelry_ Why Bind on Pick up , and not Equip?

So some of the Jewelry sold by the Golden Vendor this weekend is Bind by Pickup. Is this a mistake? Most Jewelry or anything, with the exception of things like helms or shoulders are usually bind on equip. Some of us, myself included would buy said jewelry and sell it in guilds. Recently I spent about , well a lot of AP and sold about 12 rings. When it came to these specific ones, notice I could not list them. Says bound, never wore them, then seens bind on pick up and thought, Whaaaat?

Mistake, or logic to this?

Depends on the set you look at.

If it is a dungeon raid set, it will be BoP like it's blue and violet pendants.

If it is an overland loot set, it is BoE.

Jewellery that comes from a Dungeon (Ebon) will be bound on pick up, just like it is in the Dungeon. Blessed is an overland set.

When the vendor sells overland set jewelry it's BoE, the dungeon set jewelry is BoP.

@chaz the dungeon sets from the golden vendor are always bind on pickup. This is because they come from dungeons where everything is bind on pickup, except for your group for 2 hours as im sure you know.

Then the golden sells overland sets that are bind on equip. So usually its 2 overland sets and 2 dungeon sets. If you want to buy and sell them then you have to get the overland sets. Blessed and morihaus would be the ones this week i think.

** But you probably dont want to buy either of those 2 sets to resell. I dont think anyone uses morihaus, and blessed is a good set but i dont think many people use it either. Your best bet is to wait for a really good set to go up on the golden. I think something like spriggens, spinners, and mothers sorrow, would be good sets to sell, for example.

If you have a surplus of AP then buy Akaviri/Militant Ordinator motifs and resell them. Average conversion rate seems to be about 1/4 - gold/AP.

Dungeon sets used to be sellable, before OneTam

The trouble arises because the dungeon sets aren't obviously marked as BoP... they're marked, yes, but not in a way that shouts 'you can't trade me!'

Players who primarily play PvP may not be sufficiently familiar with the umpteen zillion sets to know by name which are Overland and which are Dungeon. The two Dungeon jewelry sets offered by the Golden are the only sets anywhere in Cyrodiil that are BoP. They should be distinctively marked as such imo.

IF its a dungeon set, it will be bind on pick up.

Overland sets would be bind on equip.

Same as if obtained in the overland.
