Relequen for VMA??

Dumb question, is Relequen good in VMA? I get about 3k more dps on a parsing dummy compared to Hunding Rage but I kinda have mix feelings about it in vma.. I can't tell if it's better or worse than the Hunding..

Relequen is a great dps set and will boost anyone's dps by at least 3k, in dungeons that is, where you focus on a single target in boss fights (most of the time).

In VMA however you want sets that boost your overall damage on all targets, i.e Spriggans, Hundings, Vicious Serpent, Night Mother's etc.

I guess that Relequen could work when the boss appears in each stage, but you're better off running 5x VO + 5x Hundings/Spriggans + 2x Velidreth/Stormfist/Kraghs.

Also, Relequen really shines in longer fights, VMA fights are pretty short in general.

Ideally you should have enough dps that you wouldnt/barely would get your 20 stacks of relequin. So a simple set like hundings will out perform AND will make your heals better.

Nope, you dont get enough time on any boss for the stacks to do any form of decent dps.

Hundings, Veiled, Briar, VO are my go to sets for vMA as they either offer constant damage or burst damage which is more important in vMA than sustained damage.

It's worse in vMA than Hundings, but I'm too lazy to swap gear and just used Relequens to clear it. Got my bow finally so never going back.
