Obviously not because then I would have gotten it when I logged in..
Seems it's on UTC time which is really inconvenient since it's hella early and if I don't play at night I'll miss rewards.
Well, doing it at midnight UTC instead of midnight ET means that it is always at the same time and people only need to take into account their own Daylight Saving Time/Summer Time/Whatever Time.Waffennacht wrote: »I am perplexed as to why it's not set to US times.
Not like ZoS is in a different country

Welcome to the MMO market then. Most of the MMOs out there have their time working with basic EU timezones. I suppose it is only fair when the NA servers get a lot more attention and care from the company.

Imagine they moved the time to an US standard, then ppl would still complain that it is not their time zone, since there are several ones.

Entirely true. While many people in the US seem to think the rest of the world revolves around us, that's far from the case. I have website clients all over the world. If I didn't have UTC clocks on my desktop.... well, I wouldn't be a good manager at all. The fact that being a good manager helps with my game play time - +1 for me!
For a game that attracts players from all over the world, any developer worth their salary will set the server clock to UTC and store all timestamps in UTC.aaronsta1ub17_ESO wrote: »Why isnt the NA server on NA timezone

im seriously not happy for missing out on the last day of these rewards because i live in an area where if i wanted to play i have to wake up at 5am or get off work before 3pm to run home to catch the first day or not sleep and play at night.

Continental US has 4 time zones. Hawaii and Alaska bring it to six time zones. But you do realize that North America is not just the US, right?

Yeah but the NA server is in Texas which is in US.
It's just crazy when you play a game based in us on the NA server which is pretty much the US server you have to schedule around Europe times..
