Ok, ZoS, you've just deleted (!) recent poll, so there comes the new one. Same question:

Nerfmire with a lot of bugs that were fixed only two weeks later?
Broken dungeon finder at the beginning of the global event that stunned the activity for 8 hours.
Patch that aimed to fix broken dungeon finder killed Steam authorization procedure and Steam players can't login since patch release?

Something more is coming shortly?

First, the dungeon finder was broken for many so it needed to be fixed. Granted, Zos was negligent with ignoring this issue for over a year.

Second, it is a huge assumption that the patch affected Steam loggin. Just because the timing is similar does not mean they are related. Putting a question mark after a statement does not actually make it a question.

Really? Succesfully logged in before the patch and can't login right after? Coincidence?

Could very well be. Do you have anything to base this on since the login issue has happened so many times when Zos did not do a patch and it is so unlikely the GF has anything to do with the bridge between Zos' servers and Steam.

You could be right, but you are just making an assumption without anything substantial to base it on.

Everytime I cant log in a patch have just released, I am willing to "assume" that it is connected.

Since the patch, I've regularly had issues logging into characters myself. About twice a week for a couple of hours long each time.

I just feel like they are making events that can be frustrating because you are fighting over nodes/trying to get a hit in before a big group melts mobs, bugging out in queue, or doing anything in Cyrodiil.

That being said, I'm happy with the experience I've been having as things have mostly worked out for me.

If you've been around for awhile it's par for the course. I've seen (and been subjected to) quite a few game-breaking bugs in previous patches.

I mean which is worse, being unable to log in or being able to log in but be subjected to infinite loading screens once you get your hopes up.

I can't play during the mornings due to maintenance.
I can't play during the evenings because group finder is broken.
I can't play during the weekends because my client won't let me log in.

Dear ZOS, can you include in your next mail with crownstore news a schedule, which can help me to figure out when I can play the game?

You know, they do try to fix these issues. It's not like game is unplayable, well there is people who cant login, but these type of things can happen in any game. You need to understand that these threads are like chain reaction, it's not good for game, it's promoting negativity, 1-2 threads is ok, but not 10. This is a game afterall it shouldn't change your quality of life, if it is you're ''playing'' wrong game.

Its all about the money now with this game. Every time an event ends, a new one is beginning to try extend your play time and even they cant keep on top of all the events so the server goes to ***. The numbers must be looking good or they would be getting ''oh sh!T moments'' to try draw the lost player base back.

    Wrong. And wrong game maybe.
If you screw things up so frequent than you still have few options to calm down mad customers:

Option 1: Announce compensation for all this epic fail, so people won't be mad of loosing something.
Option 2: If you stuck into the Steam login issue over and over again - make your non-Steam version available for Steam players FOR FREE.

Just a thought. Playful thought...

I think it's hit PC harder than other platforms. I've only encountered a few bugs, and have no problem with dungeon finder at all. Maybe Xbox got lucky?

Is this a *** joke? Steam users are unable to connect after every single patch and you're here talking about coincidences?

About time consoles got a break, but I'd rather it not be at our pc brethren expense.

But to the OP question it seems to be the norm now. Release half finished game, we lemmings pay, don't fix game, show lemmings the "shiny" we pay. Some leave, more come in. When loot boxes/microtransactions are a part of every game(even single players) quality and company name are 2nd to quarterly profits. If anything I'd say someone at Zos is trying hard to keep things "decent" first time in awhile I've seen them pay for a console patch that wasn't crown store related.

Kiiiiinda? Murkmire is exceptionally lagging for me despite the rest of the game being a decent FPS with the exception being my 592 item house. My framerate will go from 30 to 20 in a second and will continue this destabilizing constantly.
