Partial dialog randomly appears

Unsure if this has anything to do with the current problems with queue but as I'm walking along one half of the party panels randomly appears, over and over. I use a controller so I'm not sure which aspects that I see are different but when I hit the P key a dialog pops up with 2 panels, the left, where it says normal/vet, leave etc etc, and the big one on the right that shows party members. the right side is the one that's randomly showing up for no reason while I'm walking along.
