Those threads -always- bother me. The showcase is -always- coming in the first week of the new month, and people are -always- asking "are we there yet" in the week before. Why? WHY???

Come on scout calm down)))) the showcase is usually released on the last days of the month, and only sometimes on the first days of month it presents. Gina responded it woube posted next week, so folks like me knew they didn’t have to check news this week.

PS i don’t like threads about nerfs, so I don’t open/read them^^

Showcases didn't start when you turned up or began taking note of them.

They used to be posted in the month prior. My memory is rusty, but I think they might have started on the second last Thursday of the month previous. When they slipped slowly towards the end of the month, it was inevitable they'd slump into the actual month they were for.

Zeni have tried to push them as far back as they possibly can so people are unable to effectively budget their crowns in the short-term. They want to force people to panic and buy last month's offerings, not show them something they might prefer next month. This is why people keep on top of them.

It's futile, though. That might be why many old players like me don't even bother with them any longer.

It's a gross and slimy "business strategy" that seems to be working for them.

Getting the same feeling honestly. The budget thing is the only reason I keep checking every day. Luckily ZOS hasn't released something new that was worth buying for me in months so I don't even care about limited sales. Unfortunately I have at least one friend who keeps buying everything limited instantly to not "miss out". I guess they can get away with it.

On one hand, I'm disappointed in not seeing Lakemire Xanmeer Manor available once again. But on the other hand, I should be able to get the crowns for it during the crown sale this month...as long as there IS a crown sale this month...and I can save said crowns.

I'm really digging the new ice themed stuff this month. Iceheart arms pack, the ice nixad, and sabre cat frost atronach mount. My ice mages are getting some new goodies this month. Good thing I have gems squirreled away for the nixad and sabre cat.

I'm sorry they didn't have the Frost Mare mount for you. I wish they had offered both but I am thrilled with the Sabre Cat Frost Atronach mount. I just hope I have enough gems for it.

I love the Sabre Cat Frost Atronach mount and the Ice Nixad pet. However, I won't be purchasing them, as I'm disgusted that ZOS has decided to move towards selling things directly for a currency type that can only be acquired by purchasing and then trading in particular items using another currency type that can actually be directly purchased.

If ZOS started to sell crown gems directly, I would likely change my mind. But the way the system is set up now, I won't be partaking of those items.

And I'm not one of the players that is against spending money on this game. I've been an ESO+ subscriber since I started playing, and continue to be. I've spent literally thousands of dollars on crowns, to purchase crates, costumes, houses, etc. I am squarely in the middle of ZOS's target demographic. But this particular marketing choice leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

We will see what the discount is on all the items as well, for ESO+, but if it's reasonable prices, I'll get some stuff from this month as well.

I will buy things I like but putting things behind a gem paywall reeks of greed.
