No Magika Regeneration On Boss

I just fought the Spriggan boss in March of Sacrifices. My magika didn't regenerate AT ALL unless I used a potion. Is that a mechanic?

✭✭✭✭✭On the three bosses one of them, think its the archer has an negate magic field. You have to stay out of it if you use magic skills. Interrupt with ranged interupt or have an stamina char assigned to him.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

You are thinking the sisters. OP is asking about the next fight that has a Spriggans boss and Lurchers spawn.
OP, I have only tanked it, which I do use both resources, and have had no issues. Maybe there is an obscure mechanic you came across./0
