With the current prices of zircon plating, you are better off buying purple jewelry directly. On PC/NA upgrading to purple cost somewhere between 75-90k and you can get purple BTB jewelry for 40k a pop if you poke around a bit. Thanks for the tip! I wasn't going to upgrade anytime soon, blue jewelry is what most of my girls/guys have been using for the longest and they are beastly. Epic plates are about 40k on ps4NA so I wasn't looking forward to that, plus I already upgraded my shackle breaker set so only one plate left.
Anyone have any idea if they have plans to improve drop rates for epic plates? Refined 2500 dust last night got barely enough to make 1 plate. Gold? I made 2! Funny thing is, I actually seem to generate more gold than purple grains. Purple drops slightly more frequently than gold from refining but far and away my biggest source of gold grains is crafting writs. Really wish they would add purple grains to the loot pool. I can make 100s of green and blue pieces, and can upgrades a few sets to gold if I wanted to, but purple is always the trick.0 -
