Ignoring a game just because of optional junk like crown crates seems really silly.
(but I'm sure, even if you got past that, you'd probably moan about it having daily login rewards now.)17 -

Game devs do love the RNG boxes; so much so that it's become meta for the industry.
However, some folks should just play the dang game if they claim to "really enjoy" it.

Silly. Not a single mechanic depends on those crates. I never bought one and still play.

Yep, I don't like crown crates but since they started to hand them out freely so often it has really softened the blow. I now feel like I can get some of the items from the crates without spending any extra money on them. It has been a good move from ZOS.PC/EU DC1 -
