Is there any precedent in the lore for other wereforms? Werecrocodile and some of the others seem kinda stupid
There is precedent for other forms of lycanthropy withinin Elder Scrolls lore: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Lycanthropy The only exception would be were-shark obviously, since that is assumed to be a made-up mythical form.0
