So I'm trying out tanking, run 5x plaugedoctor 5x fortified bras 2x bloodpspawn. I'm going to switch out for ebon when I get it. But I want to know a good place to set attribute points. Where should my stats be to do good? 🙂

I am going to assume it is the Fortified Brass set you will change out for Ebon. All that resistance is not needed.

Generally tanks run 35k health and split the rest between mag and stam. You want Stam a little bit higher than mag so when you pick up a synergy from a shard or orb you get stam.

Many of us run infused trait on the large pieces and have Prismatic armor enchants on those pieces, if you can afford that enchant. It provides 50% more max stats, but it is the most expensive enchant one can buy.

You may need to tweak a little bit after you get your Ebon set.

PS many of us probably run some magicka regen such at the Atro mundus. Stam we regen via Shards/Orbs and HAs.

It totally depends on how you want to set up.

From the Warden Tanks within my guild i know or a number of setups each with their own merit.

I run a high health and high mag recovery setup in order to provide strong healing support.

I've seen setups which work to boost DOS running sets like Galenwe or Powerful Assault.

Just remember rule one of tanking. Your main job is to be able to survive. Build for that first and then scale down to the minimum needed to survive while increasing your DPS/healing support.

Best test for setups is to take your tank solo in to vet Hel Ra and pull the first bulk of ads (to the top of the stairs) and test your self sustain and survivability. Record it and analyse if you're intent on improving.

Many setups people run rely heavily on having healer support which isn't always viable in some situations.
Dark Flare is the Beginning, Radiant is the End. Hail the Light Bringers!

What kind of tank? Double snb, 1snb/1ice staff or double ice staff? It’s diffrent depending on which playstyle. Also what are you using for your main self heal?
