But yeah, it would make a nifty crown store unlock to be allowed cross-racial hair colors. Blonde dunmer, black-haired altmer (the game can do it for NPCs, so why can't we for our own characters?), and so on... it would make a great addition for roleplaying as "halfbreed" (since in the elder scrolls universe, children -always- have the racial traits of thei mother as per loremaker fiat, but they do have traces of their father in their looks, so... hair color or skin shades not usually associated with that race would be a good place to go there!)

I'm a simple person: if I make an Altmer, I make a golden skin with light color hair; if I make a Dunmer, I want red eyes; a short Bosmer and a bald male Redguard (or a female with a beautiful afro hair style) are also required. ✭Much like the similar threads for wanting Altmers to have black hair, I agree with the OP.
I'd very much like to see a Crown Store option that lets you alter your character's hair color at will, much like the Cosmetic Pack: Hair Styles that lets you change their hair styles at will. As it has to do with color selection, it should use the current Armor and Weapon coloration menu that way players could use all of the special colors they've unlocked.PC NA @Ertosi♠♦ My Team ♥♣

And yeah, I do often spend a lot of time just looking through pictures online (usually for when I want something I can "borrow" to make a character sheet for an NPC for Pen&Paper roleplaying, though I suppose these days its more often for something I can link to to illustrate a point on an online discussiuon... )

✭They need to replace the hair color options with a color wheel or whatever so all races can have hair of whatever color. Raz has red hair but it's not an option for Khajiit unless you use the few hairstyles that have other weird colors thrown in. Leython in Summerset has black hair but it's not an option for Altmer, closest is a not really that dark brown. Just give us a color shader/pallet thing where we can choose any color from any spectrum of the color wheel. Or at least hair dyeing as an in game option. Put those eyes we've earned to use.1
