Golden Vendor - 2018/11/16

The Golden vendor is a special vendor located in one of base camps for each faction in Cyrodiil that only appears on the weekend to sell monster sets that are obtained in the various group dungeons around Tamriel.

This weeks items are:

1. Ring of Mephala’s Hand – Healthy 250,000g / 500,000AP
2. Light Speaker’s Ring – Arcane 250,000g / 500,000AP
3. Ring of Martial Knowledge – Arcane 150,000g / 300,000AP
4. Ring of a Mother’s Sorrow – Arcane 150,000g / 300,000AP
5. Troll King’s Shoulders – Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000AP
6. Infernal Guardian’s Shoulders – Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy)100,000g / 200,000AP

Items purchased with Alliance points are impenetrable.

You can totally sell overland sets. Dungeon sets are BoP.

Some (many?) people sit on metric sh** tons of money (or AP but for the target demographic, probably less so), so why not?

Not at all, Overkill for pve isn’t a thing. They aren’t looking for balance or challenge, they want to just melt everything. In general, gold rings don’t have a huge stat boost, but as stated above, for min maxers, every little bit helps

Got 2 Mother's Sorrow golden rings in May this year, when they were still no-deconstruct, before Summerset hit and craftable Jewelry came out. Guess there's not that much of sets to show something new.

As for now there are 400+ pages at ttc, 300 of them are gold rings, and only 33% of is 150k or lower. I just bought 4 rings for 75k each from same guy, kudos to him. There were cheaper propositions but they move out fast, i don't want to lost my head in all of this madness with Mother's sorrow which is going on currently.

If and when I get gold rings off the golden, I sell them for 30-60k.

People so often want maximum payout for everything and it's annoying. My items actually sell and sell frequently.

I once scoured Tamriel for a Desert Rose shield. Looked at over 30 traders. Couldn't find one for less than around 80k, LMAO. Finally found one for 2k.

Alliance Points aren't hard to get, unless one doesn't do PvP at all. Bad idea anyway to buy those same rings which are on the Golden that week as well, better to wait 1-2 months until the price drops, I've sold my 2 Seventh Legion golden rings last months for 30k gold each, think that is a reasonable price bearing in mind their rather easy availability. And 300k AP is by no means worth 300k gold, not even mentioning 400k+ gold, but much less.

Maybe and maybe not, I checked several 50k propositions - all were gone within hour. Mother's sorrow is probably most popular overland set, demand is huge and never-ending.. and it can't be compared to 7th legion. When i got my hands on purple ring of 7th i'll be lucky to sell it 1.5k, and purple mother sorrow goes went for 12k+ easily in one day.

Don't tell me, I loot those Deshaan chests regularly, up to 50-60 in a row when in the mood for lottery. You will be lucky if you got one purple ring of mother sorrow within hour.. and blue.. they cost nothing, 350-500.

You're looking for them in the wrong place. Do the dolmens, they drop a ring or amulet 100% at the end, + a small chance for additional jewelry piece. You can farm those rings easily with some patience, as long as you can solo dolmens.
