Veteran Maw of Lorkhaj - Aspects not being assigned correctly

When: 2nd Boss. Vashai & Skinrai. At the start of the fight when first assigned Aspects. Also at Aspect Change midfight
Everytime?: Some instances do not have this problem. If the instance does have the problem it happens every 2-3 wipes.
What happens:
a) Vashai & Skinrai channel and cast Lunar & Shadow Aspects on all 12 players at the start of the fight. 6 Lunar (closest to Skinrai) & 6 Shadow (closest to Vashai).
The Aspects are not assigned evenly (7 or 8 Lunar, 4-5 Shadow) and both groups explode.
b) Vashai & Skinrai channel and cast Change Aspect, changing the color of 3 players in each group to the opposite Aspect. These players change groups.
More than 3 players in each group recieve the aoe below their feet telling them they're changing Aspect. 4 or 5 from a single group can get the aoe below them. They all change, one of the circles was a lie, that group explodes.
What is meant to happen:
