pvp really need campaign faction lock

The griefing now is more than ever. Run own scroll to enemy, take enemy scroll to enemy.
Why can't zos just put a campaign faction lock once for all?
The only thing zos did to cyro is they made those gates and bridge can be destroyed.
And this did not even work as intended, ppl can still pass through the tunnels.

Fact is that most people jumping into cyrodiil are not invested enough to lock themselves to a certain fraction. They want to be able to play with all their friends; it will just annoy people.

Faction flipping is annoying, sure, but just something that we will have to live with I think.

I am surprised at the short lengths those that want faction locks in place but they do not want the actual issues they bring up fixed.

I would rather Zos fix the actual issues then pretend to with a virtually meaningless faction lock.

I dont think it's really that big of an issue. That said, if it were up to me I would eliminate factions completely. The first time you enter a campaign each cycle, you pick your faction and your account is set to that faction for that campaign. So if you want to play the 30 day campaign as EP, the 30 day NO CP as AD, and the 7 day as DC, fine. Each cycle, it resets.

Why do people even care about scrolls tbh? Their buffs are marginal at best and not worth much to scoring at all.

The buffs are marginal but you must have missed the update where they changed the scoring for scrolls. They are now very significant.

Faction lock is not the solution to troll scrolling or hopping on another faction and hand delivering the scroll to the enemy faction.

I followed the guys doing it for DC campaign before last. (I was on EP). All the fake EP’s buddies thought I was with the fake EP. I rode in stood beside all these DC. No one attacked me. They killed the fake EP and took the scroll. Everyone rode away. I guess they thought I was there to rez their buddy lol. I never cared one wit about the campaign since.

Yep +1 for lock to stop boosters, cheats and trolls.

@ZOS_BrianWheeler did say they were looking at something on this earlier in the year.
