Why is every patch, no matter how inconsequential. a gauntlet of these two errors?
Start the launcher, pause, resume, pause, resume, close the launcher and restart until finally, the patch is pieced together and I can begin playing again.
No other game I play or have played has been this frustrating this consistently when it comes to patches.

✭✭I don't run into this issue consistently, but when I do I take the steps I list at:

I think the issue is with how the patcher interacts with particular ISP's. The patcher works fine with several 3rd party VPN connections (which would indicate the problem is with the ISP), but the files can be successfully downloaded without a VPN using a browser (which would indicate the problem is with the patcher). I suspect that some ISP's are balking at some specific way that the patcher is trying to connect to the patch file depot.
Taking stealth away from the Bosmer is like taking magic away from the Altmer, making Nords allergic to mead, or making Orcs pretty.0
