I already have a long enough wait time to get in to campaigns if I pop on too late - Don't need or want the slots taken by silly fools running around like chickens with their heads cut off instead of me... Running around... Like a chicken with my legs broken and groin kicked... and head cut off...

    Hell, no!

In the evening it's already packed enough and groups are full so you have to wait before you get into your alliance group. And on weekends it's even worse.

ZOS should to add Cyrodiil conscription to make PVP more populated. Everyone who doesn't own enough AP should be force locked into Cyrodiil with every character above 160 CP until they earned enough AP. OR they can pay decent amount of gold as war tax every week/month. Similar situation we can see in real life in countries like Russia or Israel. PVE scrubs can't just chilling in PVE zone while war is going on!
These measures would solve two problems: make PVP more populated and decrease quantity of gold from the game because now there are too many gold in game economy which is leading to inflation/gold devaluation.

I don't think it is a bad idea. I think when you hit lvl 50 you should be recruited for conscription (auto teleport to Cyrodill) and when you have served your time (1 year or 10 million AP) you may leave or go career.

If you leave you can only leave through one portal:
    E0BR.gif

If you try to leave early, you can't. After 3 attempts you are executed and perma death.

The game would be empty in 5 seconds when 90% of the playerbase uninstalls

It would kill the game off for good

    So no, very bad idea

Well, so it's either 1 year loitering or actually contributing to a 7 day campaign. At least they get to sniff out PvP and we might even have some go career. The plebs will go out of washout lane.

I agree with this idea, but it shouldn't just be on the battle front. There should also be focus on the protecting and rebuilding the infrastructure, so there should be a requirement of completing 10 quests, 2 undaunted and 1 random daily every day. This way the people who PvE will be forced into PvP, and the people who enjoy PvP will be forced into PvE. If you can't protect and secure your own area, then you shouldn't be fighting in Cyrodiil.

Can't wait to watch the tears, from both sides.

Uhm, people who PvP are already forced into doing PvE.
How do you think we get gear and level up and get skyshards? And already we rebuild infrastructure. You think those keeps repair themselves?

You can buy Hakeijo from guildtraders. And Vigor yes.... for alliance skills you need to get some AP.
PvE people always cry and hate it that they have to PvP for something. An they forget PvP'ers have to PvE for a tenfold more stuff.

    Endless LOL.
Not enough lags in primetime? Not enough "lfg lfg lfg lfg where are groups i want group group me plz first time here lfg molag bal lets go ic"?
    I have better idea.
Do not let PVEers even enter Cyro farther than the gates. Unlock all Alliance War skill tree by completing"Welcome to Cyrodill", remove PVP from IC (or IC from PVP), add a wayshrine there unlocked by default. Many PVPers will be thankful for faster queue and less pvd noobzergs, many PVEers will happily farm scamps without reasons to whine about "cheaters" who killed them while they were killing fauna/smelling flora (or viceversa).

this is actually brilliant, more reason to do pvp.

but it hardly implemented, cause there is some people only spend few hours a week / month or just enjoying eso as single player rpg game.
also some player not only playing in 1 faction, make the faction loyalty is bs.

Yeah, force PVEers to play PVP, so you have more people who have no idea how to do PVP that you can kill. Sure. I see what you'e doing there. You just want to kill more people. I agree, a lot of people would uninstall. Including me. I have no desire to be cannon fodder.

What they NEED to do is put hidden pve crafting mats in the wall repair kits. When a kit is used, it has a .001 chance to drop a Perfect Roe or Potent Nirncrux. Or maybe an indrik feather.

People play the game because loot pinata.

true, last evening 96 in queue, after 1 hour 49 minutes I could enter,
as you say we need more of that, much more, so we are in que for a week or a month,

You ever read the "pvp everywhere kill anything and everyone even guildmates all the time" aka "open world pvp" threads? 90% might be a little high, but probably not by much. I'd drop the game immediately; even with cash I've spent on it with subbing from early access on, buying the dlcs and chapters and extra crowns for fun stuff from the crown store . I play the game for fun, enjoyment, and the story/world, not to calculate min/max percentages to get that last .00001% dps and listen/read the wonderful trash talk about my Mom mixed with creative swearing. I'd happily go to cyrodiil and do stuff if the stuff involved npc enemies. Pvp makes no sense to me.

    {yes, I've been to cyrodiil; I craft for my guilds and needed to use the crafting stations in IC.}
