If they use the same engine, it does make me think that they intend to replace ESO with a new multiplayer TES game. What is the trusted source of this news?

It keeps modding open to the community. If you modded Skyrim and FO4 you won’t have to learn a completely new development platform to mod Starfield or TES6
Further more just because they are using the same engine doesn’t mean they haven’t made significant upgrades to that engine. In many cases it makes sense to upgrade what they have. I think the upgrades they have made(that are not present in FO76) will be very significant.
I’m sure the engine will support 100+ FPS and many other things a few years down the road when the games come out.
What Bethesda uses now it what allows them to release Creation kits for their games(the same to old the devs use to create the game) and allow Modder a to go wild, I don’t think they could do that if they went with another engine.

You can't be real. Why would a community rely on modder to fix their game? Same goes to ESO though. Some add-ons are essential and yet ZOS not moving a finger to implement them. Atleast they did the research part which is still lacking of features. Just tell us the truth then. Not enough staff, console limitation etc.
But as Bethesda don't tell me they can't afford manpower and budget wise to do a decent engine for a 2018-2019 game. We are not in the year when Skyrim was released yet FO76 looks the same or even worse.
I thought Todd, the E3 before, said they have plans for TES6, but the technology for their vision does not exist yet. Made it sound grandiose, so, what happened?
